Dear owners, Was just at the Dog House on roxboro. We had the best service from Cortney and Tamara! They were very friendly, helpful, quick and polite. I wish I was able to TIP them with my card as I usually don't carry cash. The food was as good as usual. But PLEASE change how a person can show appreciation to good food service employees.Respectfully, a customer who is loyal to good service establishments.

The reason I'm giving them a five-star is because of a classic experience! Food still tastes great, even though the apple turnovers aren't as good as they were. Prices are still pretty decent for a combo, which consists of; two hotdogs of your choice, fries, and a drink.

I love a good hot dog! My fave is from the Dew Drop Inn in Mobile, AL, so when I run across a place that could make me one, (hot dog, chili, kraut and condiments) I'll try it, as well as something that's their specialty. If you're hungry for a hot dog, these will do if you cannot get elsewhere, but they were mediocre, at best. I'll keep seaching for a better hot dog!

Why is it a new challenge each and every time of visiting this location?
A simple request - two all beef, Collies with NO onions. If you are allergic to onions, This Dog House is NOT your place. Apparently, they do not realize that no onions means NO onions, even in the slaw. Who in the restaurant business puts onions in their coleslaw knowing this well known fact? They do and it hasn't always been that way. It was not even shredded like the cabbage but in chunks no less.
I am done with this place unless changes made. Just wanted everyone to be aware, especially those with reflux or allergies to onion.
Go to south to one of the other two restaurants on N Roxboro St to get your dogs. No onions in their slaw.

There is a young lady who works at the Roxboro Road location which, in my opinion, is racist. I was behind this nice elderly white couple at the window they had ordered their food and the window was open the entire time they were standing waiting to be served. When I got to the window, the same lady who assisted them asked to take my order, took my money and then SLAMMED the window shut like I was going to reach in and steal something! I was so upset, I asked for a refund and left. This was VERY RUDE and unprofessional! But I'm not surprised at anything that happens in this day and age. Racism, biasness and bigotry are on the rise. This young lady should not even be in this business. I wish there was a way I could file a complaint with the Dog House instead of on Google.
