Not a fan, ate there last night and got food poisoning for the first time in my life. Don't know if it was the food or the fact you cook it at the table based on a sheet with instructions... The price tag is high considering they don't need a chef, you literally cook everything. The one positive was our waitress she was great.
Me and my wife went there for our anniversary and we both enjoyed ourselves. Staff was amazing. Brian was our server and Molly was the manager on duty. Both of them took great care of us. Food was great as well. If you want to eat fondue and support a local restaurant, it's worth a try
This is a super cute date spot with great decor. It's a bit more expensive than I feel necessary, though you are paying for the experience as well. Be prepared to spend a long time there - it makes sense, we just didn't think it through.
I came to the Little Dipper to celebrate my 30th birthday. This was my first fondue experience, and it did not disappoint. We had a few folks who needed some dietary adjustments, including one friend who is dairy-free and vegetarian, but the host was willing to take off a portion of her bill since she couldn't enjoy the cheese and chocolate with us. Our waiter was also very patient with our table's dietary restrictions and even gave us all a free glass of champagne to celebrate my birthday! (So much better than a random piece of cake at another restaurant). The variety of foods to choose from was excellent, and I was actually stuffed at the end of the night. Overall it was a great experience, and I can't wait to return for Date Night and Ladies' Night.
I've been here for both of their Ladies' Night (Wednesdays) and Date Night (Thursdays) specials and I've never been disappointed. The four stars instead of five has to do with our seating placement after having specifically indicated that we were celebrating a special occasion. The Date Night menu offers a generous wine/beer pairing with each course. We got the Tuscan cheese fondue, the port wine and beef broth entree (which came with a selection of various meats), and the turtle dark chocolate fondue. Our waiter was friendly and helpful with his suggestions based on our tastes. Definitely recommend Little Dipper for both fun group meals or intimate dates.
