I love this place! I always come here after work to get things done. It’s a very nice and comfortable space. Taurean is always there to help me out. He’s absolutely amazing! He always makes really great suggestions! I’ve become a regular. I 100% recommend this place if you want somewhere quite and cozy to work or have your morning coffee!

I love the Oak House, and I am a regular here. I know many of us use the coffee shop in the evening to study. The music is routinely a little loud and not conducive to learning. I purchased noise-canceling headphones to work in the coffee shop. That feels slightly counter-intuitive.
If we can address this, this place will be five stars for me.

Good morning. I first want to say that I really enjoy coming to the Oak House so much, That I am a regular. Today, I really had to use the bathroom. And was informed that I needed to spend money to use the bathroom. As I do understand that the homeless tend to hang out downtown. I also work with that population and understand why you have placed locks on the doors. All of this is to say that I don't appreciate paying $4 to use a bathroom that anyone should have access to without

Their cold brew has a very acidic note, so much so that the creamer curdles into semi solid chunks. The butterfly pea matcha is so watery you can barely taste anything but watered down oat milk. Overall unimpressed with the drinks. Took a few sips and promptly threw it out and left.

Traveled to Durham for work and stopped at the oak house for my morning coffee. The vibe is cool! And the latte was good!
Parking: I had a hard time finding a parking spot and I was there early in the morning so i think it’ll be even harder throughout the day and on the weekend. It’s all street parking.

They had a coffee menu with multiple options but when my friend and I ordered, they had nothing on their menu. They claimed they had a cold brew but didn’t. They claimed they have matcha but did not. They claimed they were out of it but they said their matcha wasn’t even green tea based. To say the least I would not recommend this place to anyone and won’t be coming back here. Employees were not helpful and overcharged my friend for below average drinks. Could have been an awesome place but missed the mark.
