WilSun Cleaning Services knows the best part of waking up is getting the The Oak House in my cup. The best coffee location in Durham hands and toes down. I cancel Starbucks plan for the real deal.

The best coffee in this part of downtown hands down. Me and my coworkers work 2 streets away and come here all the time, whether for a warm pastry or iced latte. Their teas are delicious as well. Taurian, Sam, and the whole team have always been super kind. It is also never a struggle to find seating here to do remote work!

Coffee is pretty good here, can be a little expensive with add ons such as milk substitutes and syrups but overall vibe is quite nice. Espresso itself is good, has a somewhat nutty flavor which I liked a lot.

There was mold in my apple turnover. Disgusting experience. I wish I could leave a 0/5. They also clearly do not support their workers. I felt awful for the singular employee working (who did his best) in the super crowded location on a Saturday. They also clearly don’t care about their customers because they are selling moldy food items.

I got coffee here with a colleague around 9am and I found this to be a really great place to get together. The coffee was delicious and there was ample room to sit. I highly recommend stopping by if you are looking for coffee in the area.

Unfortunately, when I visited the Oak House on Friday, I was fed mold. I innocently ordered a single apple turnover, looking for a sweet treat on a cold and crisp evening. Alas, not only was my first bite basically a mouthful of air, I noticed within that the tiny morsel of apple filling in fact had...YES! MOLD! This was a most unpleasant discovery. The reaction of my friends was more sympathetic than the staff, who barely issued a sorry before offering me the other turnover from the case, with a weak promise to comp the first, seemingly unsure of how to do so.
I left with only my stomach turning over. Be forewarned!

It's a great place to get a coffee. I like to sit at the bar facing the window and watch people and cars go by on main Street.

Super trendy yet warm coffee house/ brew/ wine bar. Came in for a quick coffee and stayed a few hours with some unique drafts and great conversations. Definitely a Durham Gem.

I visited here after dinner to read a book, and the atmosphere is really great for chilling out!
They have both regular tables and bar seating. Coffee, wine and beer available.
The menu has a wide variety of options.
Tried the decaf Americano and it was really good.

Oak House has been my place of refuge since my return to Durham. The staff has always been friendly and attentive, and the ambience there makes this a unique establishment in the city. I thoroughly enjoy Taurean's (the manager) attention to detail, and constant energy when engaging with myself and other customers. If you are looking for a dope environment to work and be in community with folks, this is your place! Shoutout to the playlist!!

Excellent service, great drinks, and a welcoming environment every single time. It’s rare to find a place that’s consistent like this. Highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t already!

The staff are nice its really not my cup of tea.
Coffee is going to be standard specialty coffee. It's good, but nothing to write home and tell your mom about. They offer different sizes of cappuccinos, the smallest being 12oz.
Very friendly staff! Environment is very clean. A great place to meet up for coffee, wine, or whisky.
Clean bathrooms, but you'll need a key. Fast wifi. Great place to work from home, though it can get a little loud.
Surprisingly good pasties! They warm them up in an oven, not a microwave, so the croissant stays crispy!!
