Aptly named given we were there for 20 minutes and no one attended to us AT ALL. Cherry on top was an individual who looked to be the manager make eye contact with us about half way through our table waiting to be acknowledged and then he pulled out his phone and proceeded to just be on his phone the rest of the time.

We left and went to another cocktail bar down the street.

Meg was a fantastic server! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and made sure each of us got exactly what we wanted! We will definitely be back because of her!

My husband and I dropped by on Wednesday night - cocktails, food and service were pretty good! Removing one star because of extremely strong bleach smell throughout the whole bar. It was unexpected and definitely ruining the vibe. At the same time hopefully it will be easy to fix (and switch to some milder products), we will give it another chance in the nearest future

I had the most amazing experience at the waiting room. The staff is friendly and very knowledgable about the menu. The space is beautiful and it’s the perfect place to go grab a drink, a bite to eat (the deviled eggs are life changing) or host an event! Theres indoor and outdoor seating, which is a huge plus. The area around the bar is also so cute and fun to walk around after or before. I would recommend to anyone and will definitely be coming back!!

The Waiting Room is a great vibe! It's my favorite place to stop by after a show at DPAC. The service and atmosphere is perfect. My favorite menu item is the deviled eggs - it has a nice Asian twist to it. Their cheese board and desserts are super flavorful and yummy! I also like that their menu is seasonal, so the drinks are always new so you'll always find something there!

I had a pretty strange experience at The Waiting Room. I came to the bar for a friend's birthday. Aside from our group of about 10 - 15 people, there were maybe 4 - 6 others in the bar. This did not at all seem like an overwhelming crowd for a bar, especially on a slow, rainy weeknight, however, the bartenders refused to let us open multiple tabs. One member of our party had to pay, and then they printed a receipt for us all to pay her back. I've never experienced anything like this before in a bar. The bartenders kept insisting that we were seated at a table and were provided table service, however, the place was not at all set up like a restaurant and I placed all of my drink orders at the bar...not from a table. The place also primarily serves cocktails, not food, so it seems like most people would assume that it functions like a bar and expect to be able to open a bar tab.

Aside from the very strange experience with paying for my drinks, the drinks themselves were great, the ambience was nice, and the location is good. The staff was polite. Do not recommend going here with a larger party. Perfect for a date night, a catch up with a friend or two, or a solo drink.

The bar was cute but my group and I didn’t have the best experience with the wait staff… c’est la vie! Expect to spend $$$ for $ value

The bartenders and host(s) make the place stand out in the crowd, and the ambience is very nice too. Their knowledge of drinks and hospitality is high caliber. Greatly skilled and kind people serving great drinks.

Pictured is the yummy cocktail named Apollonia. I call it “Blueberry Yum Yum,” but that’s just me. They will know what you mean though.

I much appreciate the noise filtering accomplished by the sound absorption panels. They’re a nice discreet touch to the ceiling for someone like myself who doesn’t appreciate excessive noises sometimes.

Neat little spot near DPAC. It's a good place to have a drink before heading somewhere else. Our drinks were delicious. The vibe and the service were decent. Worth a pop-in for a pit stop.

This is a really cute place with a great vibe. The food was fresh and delicious. Please note they have more of a small plates menu. I could tell the server was new, but she provided good service. If you are even in the area, it's worth stopping by. This place is located across the street from the DPAC.

Great drinks. It is trickier when it’s more than two people. The space is small and when four of us have shown up, the space just struggled to accommodate comfortable seating for all of us. They had seating but it wasn’t the best for us (two seats and two window sill seats which felt far back). But if you’re looking for a date night for two near the DPAC, this is definitely the place to go!

Oh and the Grinch decorations that they did in December 2024 were awesome. These are good people so please support them!
