I wanted to enjoy this place more than I did. It was busy but not full, yet I stood at the host stand for about five minutes without acknowledgment. When someone finally came over, I was told that since I was alone I should sit at the bar, even after saying I preferred a table. The seats at the bar were slightly too low for how high the bar was.
Once seated, I waited a while to have my drink order taken, and people who sat down after me were served first, which was frustrating. The upside: their espresso martini was genuinely delicious.
Drink prices weren’t listed on the menu, and one cocktail plus a reasonable tip came out to $22, which felt steep for the experience. I like finding new spots near DPAC, but this one missed the mark for me, and I don’t plan on returning.
Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. They have done a great job decorating for the Holidays. I would return to this bar.

Confusing atmosphere (industrial modern but 80s Latino pop playing in the background???), loud music, and okay cocktails.. cool that they have a rotating menu but the whole vibe was not loungey as I thought it would be.
Also one of the bartenders was straight hammering on a giant ice block for nearly 10 minutes at the bar. Seems like something they could have taken to the back kitchen, or dealt with before business hours.

The food and drinks are good, and the place has nice seating and atmosphere. However, don’t expect fast service. The Waiting Room is appropriately named.

Aptly named given we were there for 20 minutes and no one attended to us AT ALL. Cherry on top was an individual who looked to be the manager make eye contact with us about half way through our table waiting to be acknowledged and then he pulled out his phone and proceeded to just be on his phone the rest of the time.
We left and went to another cocktail bar down the street.

Meg was a fantastic server! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and made sure each of us got exactly what we wanted! We will definitely be back because of her!

My husband and I dropped by on Wednesday night - cocktails, food and service were pretty good! Removing one star because of extremely strong bleach smell throughout the whole bar. It was unexpected and definitely ruining the vibe. At the same time hopefully it will be easy to fix (and switch to some milder products), we will give it another chance in the nearest future

I had the most amazing experience at the waiting room. The staff is friendly and very knowledgable about the menu. The space is beautiful and it’s the perfect place to go grab a drink, a bite to eat (the deviled eggs are life changing) or host an event! Theres indoor and outdoor seating, which is a huge plus. The area around the bar is also so cute and fun to walk around after or before. I would recommend to anyone and will definitely be coming back!!

The Waiting Room is a great vibe! It's my favorite place to stop by after a show at DPAC. The service and atmosphere is perfect. My favorite menu item is the deviled eggs - it has a nice Asian twist to it. Their cheese board and desserts are super flavorful and yummy! I also like that their menu is seasonal, so the drinks are always new so you'll always find something there!
