Great wings, burgers and fried pickles! Good variety of beer selections.
Been here a bunch of items and ordered food multiple times. Everytime found the food decent to excellent, the only thing I did not like is the margirita pizza. margarita pizza is supposed to be tomato, mozzarella and basil representing the Italian flag , whatever this is , not a margarita pizza and it tasted bad. Besides my aversion to badly done Italian food. They have good ciders, nachos and tacos are good and their special menu is always good. Ambiance is fun and casual. Service very good but have to be a tiny bit patient with the food. Overall one of the better hang out bars in durham.
Surprising gem! Beer was excellent, nachos and tacos were delicious. Will definitely be back next time we pass through
Beer and food was great! Grateful service also
In from out of town for a work trip and stopped in here for dinner. Great beer selection of their own beers as well as a decent amount of guest taps. Food was good, service was good. We enjoyed the beers we had and brought home two 4 packs. Will definitely come back next time we’re in town!
Nice little brewery. Very good beer, good food and friendly folks working there.
Visited Tobacco Wood Brewing Co after a match, and while the overall experience was decent, there were a few areas for improvement. The beers were good but would have been much better if they were served colder. We ordered wings, pizza, and tacos, but it took about 30 minutes for the food to arrive at the table. With only one server working, the service was understandably slower, and it felt like more staff would have made a big difference. The place has potential but could benefit from quicker service and colder drinks
Not a bad spot. I had the burger and sidewinder fries. My daughter had the chicken wings in Carolina bbq sauce. They had plenty of beer options and enough space for a decent sized gathering. I would definitely come back.
This my go-to place whenever I’m in Durham. Beers are awesome and the RDU firebird sandwich was on-point!
While on a work trip, I walked from my hotel to TWBC in Durham. I was by myself, but the staff was friendly and helpful in making a beer choice. It was a good one. Lexington tangerine cream ale I think it was called. Really good. Food was very good. I had a classic cheese burger and pickle spears. It was a very good experience. Would have been better with friends. A cool fire pit or a pit type seating for part of the area, indoor or out would have made the atmosphere more relaxed and cozy. But overall an excellent stop. I will be back and bring my crew next time.

Stopped for lunch. Staff were friendly and service was fast.
There are a lot of plugs along the bar and at tables. Convenient for working remotely.
Great beer. Huge selection of in house and local brews. Didn't try the food but smelled and looked good.
Ask for the Admiral!!!
The staff was kind and helpful. The food was great. The noise level inside was very loud, so to have a conversation, we had to sit outside-which was hot and someone at a neighboring table was smoking cigars. The appetizer was serveres with the meal. Great selection of beers.
Food and service was excellent
