We celebrated y husband's birthday and it was disappointing. Good: The reservation was easy to make and modify and our table was ready as soon as we arrived. The downside was the food, Not so good: The food tasted as though it was frozen food and not fresh. The fries looked and tasted as though they had been re-cooked; same for he wings. The BBQ chicken was not completely done and the ribs were not the best. Our family have had better. Not worth what we paid at all! We will not be returning nor will we recommend.
Was very surprised to see how empty the restaurant was on Friday night - hence, the quiet level. Our waitstaff was excellent. She was very accommodating to my friend's request for gluten-free food. All four of us enjoyed our meals; however, the food came out of the kitchen in a staggard menu. My own meal of boneless beef short ribs was supposed to come with a side of mashed potatoes. Instead, a young many brought me out a bowl several minutes after the rest of my meal arrived. In addition, the two drinks that were ordered were terrible. WAYTOO MUCH ICE for a Bourbon and a Magarita. At this point, I cannot recommend this restaurant to friends. We have been here twice in the past, and our visits went off without a hitch.
Just was not great.... I wish I had a positive. Here I'll try! They gave my partner a bunch of ribs. They were huge, but were not great...
I'm from Florida was visiting with my family and we were so happy to find a Tony Romas as they are all but extinct in Florida and must say was disappointed food came out cold waiters were slow and seem more interested in chatting then giving service was not happy overall 99 percent chance I won't be going back there..
Ribs were fabulous! Booth was cozy. They need to turn down the lights and work on ambience.
Thankful we were able to meet the attendant/waitress -Sandra. The service was impeccable. Our meal was cooked perfectly (hats off to the chef).

The food was good, The kitchen and bar service was not very organized. I'm not sure if there was anyone managing the restaurant. It took 30 minutes to get out drinks, they were not able to make basic bar drinks, and the kitchen got the food orders wrong. The Wait staff and hostess were very good. The work through the issues. I will go back for the food, but they need to work on kitchen and bar management.

My family and I visited the Durham location after NCCU Homecoming, once again and was extremely disappointed. The manager Natasha was not on shift this past weekend, and the older guy who was in charge never apologized for my situation. We came in at 8pm( party of four) and was advised we would have a 30-45 minute wait, before we have our order taken. He suggested we sit at the bar for faster service. We had about a 30 minute wait at the bar as well, however the young man was extremely nice and apologized. I ordered the Steakhouse Burger with fries, we had another Steakhouse Burger with fries, Full rack of Baby Back Ribs with fries and the Shrimp appetizer, along with drinks. I requested a medium burger, and twice my burger was medium rare. The second burger had twice the red than the first one. This was disappointing and the manager was not present. Again, the “acting manager” never came to the bar and addressed my concerns. When there is a large homecoming I can’t understand how the restaurant in the Delta Hotel would close at 9pm on a Saturday night. I was extremely disappointed.

The ribs were hot and fries freshly cooked, but they put the coleslaw in the container with the hot food and my stomach, took the beating with Coleslaw in the danger zone of creating food poisoning. I was sick!

A favorite place for me n my wife from their place in Fayetteville to Myrtle Beach. Now to have one close by in Durham was a treat.
But this time, as soon as we entered the doors at 8pm, on a Saturday night, wife and 2 kids, we were told they are closing at 9. I said ok, well let’s hurry up and get us seated. Then Im told it would be 15-20mins for seating, yet I AM LOOKING AT 3,4 open booths, seats at the bar, and 2,3 tables.
Then hostess ask me will I be doing Order Out? And then tells me FOR THE 3rd TIME THAT THEY CLOSE AT 9. At this point it’s like 8:20, ON A SATURDAY NIGHT OF NCCU HOMECOMING, with multiple events going on in the area, in addition to that.
It was clear by Billy Ray as the Mgr, and KAREN as the hostess, that our money and time for family WAS NOT WANTED!!!
Even my young girls, 11 and 13, asked me “Daddy why they keep saying we close at 9?”
Alums of NCCU and certain types of citizens, were not welcomed and it was felt that your kind aren’t wanted!!
I see why the Myrtle Beach and Fayetteville locations shut Down, and the other is in good ole Tn. As others said, the customer care needs work.
