Very good. Good sized portions. Fried ice cream is amazing!

I’m usually a solo diner and a lot of the reason why I sit at the bar is for conversation, but there was no bartender behind the bar for the time I was there. My order was incorrect, but no one was there to tell for a while so I just ate it anyway. I probably flicked away around 10 ants around my plate and one that I actually pinched off of my plate. Do not sit at the bar. The guacamole was good though.

I remember the food being very good at the old location. I went again on Saturday & had a totally different experience. The food was not good. The shrimp cóctel tasted like watered down tomato sauce. The shrimp also did not taste good. The beans had no flavor. It was missing salt. I never add salt to my food, but none of my kids ate their beans. It was a waste of food. They only liked the rice. I asked for three plain chicken tacos with rice & beans. We got three tacos with shredded cheese. When I asked if they could please change at least one of the tacos, they came back to ask why. I told them it had cheese & I asked for three plain tacos. The only thing that was good were the drinks. We got horchata & Jamaica. Sorry we will not be coming again.

Friend from Mexico came by to visit me, and I took him there. He had a couple of drinks, and we had a carne asada with Mexican fajita. It was really delicious.

I ordered the Miami Slammer which is supposed to have blue curacao but the drink I was given was bright yellow with a lemon and a cherry, definitely not the drink I ordered :( I also ordered the seafood burrito which is supposed to have shrimp, scallops, fish, celery, carrots, onions, and mushrooms (straight from the menu) but I got a burrito filled with only shrimp. My visit was very disappointing, I wanted to enjoy it but unfortunately neither my drink nor my food was correct.

The managers are so helpful, kind, and willing to do anything to make your experience the best it can be! We have reserved a private room two years in a row, and the managers vent over backwards to make it amazing!

Food service was great really amazing but I don’t think we should have to Pay a tip if we have some in cash making me pay 18% when I had to ask her for my own drink

Ok, so I moved to NC nearly 3 years ago and since then I can tell you that customer service doesn't exist in 9 out of 10 restaurants here. Bad food, bad employees for sure. However when you find a good spot its tremendously good for the soul. Toreros is the real deal. Real food, real employees who understand I'm choosing and trusting them to bring me food that I don't want to regret paying for. Im not looking for a dollar menu..Im looking for satisfaction. This is a great spot that put good things in my belly. My sons agreed and we left rubbing our stomachs. We will return.

Atmosphere was definitely a vibe if it was earlier and packed but we came kind of late (8-9) which to me is a decent time for such a nice restaurant!! We got seated in an area directly under a ac shaft which leaked on us 24/7 which we weren't to upset about but we made it shake for first timers. Menu was as authentic as it could get ordered a shrimp fajitas wife ordered fajita chicken bowl and honestly both we're disgusting my shrimp was barely cooked even after I let it sit and flipped them on the hot plate. The bowl was just thrown together and both of us got sick shortly after. Again first time goers so we got what we usually would get from our local restaurant to play it safe. But I don't know if it was the late night crew ready to roll and start shutting down for the night but for $98 including 2 kids meals and queso ABSOLUTELY not worth it. Would love to try it again but IDK!!
