Monterrey mexican restaurant

Been to Monterey's on several occasions Birria Ramen is absolutely amazing! The restaurant is very clean with beautiful art throughout the wait staff is super friendly and they have really fast service. Everything that I have ordered here I have really enjoyed. And the drinks are top-notch and they look so pretty! I would absolutely recommend if you have a craving for Mexican food!

WHY DID WE WAIT 2 YEARS TO TRY THIS RESTAURANT? I’m from San Francisco, husband from Carmel, CA. Husband is FABULOUS cook. Came in hoping for a decent—please God, FRESH not from a mix!- margarita and OH MY GOD! BE SURE TO IRDER TOP SHRLF—it’s made fresh. SO good. And large. And a “good pour”— AND beautifully presented, garnished with a fresh purple Vanda orchid and pineapple. So nice, we decided to stay to eat. Both drinks and good menu are huge—and very bursting, mouth-watering. ( I’m not interested in stupid-sweet 20-something drinks). These looked delicious and I’ll be trying some. Good was FRESH and interesting and delicious. Large portions. My husband took a taste of the mole sauce and said “yep! It’s GOOD!” Just a large, nutty cr, comfy place—good bar, music at a level where you can actually easily hold a conversation. Been looking for this for two years! So happy we finally found it—just down the parking lot from TJ Maxx!

The food was not that good. My friend got 2 sides; rice and beans. The sides were old and cold- made my friend feel sick afterwards. Service was great though! Drinks were great too. Price is a bit expensive

Very good food!! Definitely get the acp with the horchata.

Top tier Mexican food in Durham. So many good options including some fusion you wouldn't normally expect. Some of the best fish fry style fish and chips in the city can be found here. The service is so prompt and friendly. Lots of seating and great for large groups. We've never had a bad experience here!

I stopped by Monterrey for lunch and ordered the Texas fajitas. My server was very nice and brought salsa and chips which had a kick by wasn’t too spicy. The fajitas were fine and I liked the shrimp. The customer beside me had the chicken which were real size bites where mine looked more like tiny pieces. If you go, would recommend just ordering the chicken fajitas or something else. The lunch menu is reasonably priced.

Our food was delicious and came out so quickly. We had Arroz con Pollo, Arroz Tejano, and a child size ACP. The “child size” was huge and the servers were so accommodating for our family. The drinks were great, and, I was impressed by the decor. Everything felt like it was updated with careful choices being made from the art to the menu. I loved it.

Came here with a party of 11 and everything was great! Food was delicious and our waiter Cesar was fantastic — super attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for dates, gatherings or just a cost friendly meal out.

This spinach burrito was EVERYTHING!!!! The green sauce was exquisite! The presentation was spot on and it was STUFFED with chicken and rice and beans and every bite. The service was quick and the house salsa was amazing with the chunky guacamole. Definitely making a return visit
