My first time trying oxtail and collard greens... I'm visiting from out of town and I have GOT to find food like this at home or learn how to make it!! I also tried the mac n cheese, sweet potato fluff, mashed potatoes, and Thai cabbage. Loved it all!
This review is NOT for storefront location but for the EZCater who preps and delivers the food. I decided to use V's Kitchen for a birthday party. Was extremely frustrated when I had to repeatedly call this establishment, and no one picked up the phone. After a few rounds of this, I decided to drive on site. When I arrived, I was told the manager was not available as I wanted to order fried fish, that was not on the EZCater menu. Eventually, I did speak with manager who called the owner to inquire if they will cater fried fish. Upon receiving the ok from the owner, at this point, I noted the price/up charge for fired fish in my birthday details booklet. I later returned onsite to get additional information about EZcater such as they would supply eating utensils, food distribution utensils, setup disposable food trays, and light heating elements. I came back another time to place catering order. Keep in mind the store manager never comes into work at the same time and thus I had to constantly call, hope someone answers, and see if/when the whereabouts of the store manager. I started placing the order and the manger mentioned the price of the fried fish as $0.50 higher than the price SHE GOT FROM THE OWNER. I questioned this price and should in my detailed birthday book that price given by owner for the fried fish. She eventually gave me this price after seeing the disgusted look on my face. Order placed. Day before party, I called V’s Kitchen to confirm my order and delivery. I confirmed the caterer would be setup up on table, lighting heating elements, and supply food distribution utensils. I was told this would be taken care of. Day of the surprise birthday party, I was notified that EZcater simply dropped off the food at the facility loading dock and left. NO SETUP, NO LIGHTING OF HEATING ELEMENT, NO FOOD DISTRIBUTION UTENSILS. This complete lack of service has a left a bad taste in my mouth and I am writing this review to warn anyone seriously considering catering V's Kitchen food. Food was good but the incompetence of the store manager was very poor.

if i could give it zero stars I would, didn’t get a chance to try the food, however customer service is trash l.Literally waited over an hour for them to tell me they didnt know what i ordered nor could find it. They need to learn to cap their orders bc they were missing several as well as giving customers the wrong orders. Definitely will not be returning!!

After reading so many rave review we decided to visit when we visited N.C.from over twelve hours away. The cashier a short woman with a ponytail was friendly, efficient and courteous. The food came quickly we didn’t wait long. A male (tattoo and hat)brought the food he was nice and approachable. One issue was 3.25 for a 20 oz bottle soda was excessive and the flies were annoying and gross in the dinning room we couldn’t enjoy our meal so we packed up and enjoyed ourselves on our 12 hour ride home.

The fish did not have a good taste. It had been fried in old grease, and left a terrible taste. The sweet potato fluff was cold

Overall the food is good when I do go. I stopped going to this place because they never seem to have the food that I would like to order when I go there. They’re always “out” of something. Of course I do not have a restaurant business but I never understood how a restaurant whose menu never changes does not have the food that’s on their menu. Waste of my time & gas trying to support. If you are like me and are looking for consistency when supporting, SoulForking Good is right down the street. Wonderful business. Swift service as well.

The cashier at the front is rude, impatient and acted completely disinterested in taking orders. My burger was black. Just a bad experience overall.. and my wife's food was cold

Terrible and food came out dry and not looking enticing. The employee service is terrible and the conduct is very bad. I would not suggest going to V’s kitchen. All around I give it a 1/5. Also the prices definitely not worth how the food taste as well.
