I drove an hour to check out the food as I have seen all the raves on tik tok and facebook. The food was way too salty but it was fresh and hot. Some of it was good I just couldn’t eat a lot of it due to the salt content. With less salt this food would be amazing. The pintos were on point and delicious. They were not brinded in salt. They were perfection. The fish salty the cornbread salty the Mac and cheese salty and the collards way to salty and tough and mine had a fishy taste. The cabbage was really good. The pork chop was tender but too salty All the food would be great if there wasn’t so much salt in it.

One of the best southern soul food restaurants I have been to. The pinto beans were full of meat and well seasoned along with the mixed cabbage and collard greens. The oxtails was plentiful over rice and gravy was definitely devine.I will definitely make this my go to for great soul food dining and will pass info to my family and friends.Parking: Handicapp and wheel chair accesible
