Waffle House isn't known for amazing food and service, so I with this review with that in mind. The food was good, on par with most Waffle Houses. The service kind of sucked, even for a Waffle House. I had to ask for things multiple times though the guy was really nice. I'm also not used to the loud, storefront style of this store. I was hoping for a less overly bright restaurant.
The waitress worked really hard on having a presence and pleasantness. Not all things are meant for all people

The "manager," who obviously was too big for his britches kept "schooling" the waitstaff on how to better serve... loudly and incorrectly. "Get the food order before the drink order." Then wouldnt listen to the orders being called out. Waitress had to keep reminding him then he messed up our hashbrown order. We ordered an add on waffle each and our food didnt come with it. I think he was intentionally ignoring her. We finally got our waffle after several customers AFTER us not only got their food but their waffles. We had completely finished our meals including the remade hashbrowns before our waffles arrived. Terrible!

I live in the area. This location is usually our go to Waffle House for my family and I. The whole staff are always welcoming! My mom and I had my kids with us (6yr. Old, 2yr. Old, and a 1month old breastfed baby). Now, if you have kids you know sometimes it can be just so overwhelming in public with them. Our waiter Daija saved the day! Daija was more than just a waiter to us. She had great hospitality, calmed my family down, and just was so polite and caring! In general, this was the best service and waiter we have ever came across from in any restaurant ?? Thank you Daija for helping us have a wonderful breakfast. We walked away with happy full stomachs!
We did some drinking yesterday and last night! Wine tasting in Roxboro, beers in Oxford and even a vodka flight at Oxford Distillery before having two more rounds of beer with a fabulous (and very cheesy) pizza then bubbles back at home. This morning's Waffle House was to get some greasy carbs to try to settle that tummy.
A brief wait on a Saturday morning but Andrew was doing a good job of keeping it orderly. He was also cleaning tables but it was clear that he's doing it slowly so that the cook doesn't get too overwhelmed by the orders.
Tammy took care of us bringing coffee quickly while my friend studied the menu to land on a biscuit sandwich. For me, it was a hash brown bowl with ham and eggs and cheese.
Everything was cooked properly and it came out fast including a nice toasty wallet with "butter spread" and syrup.
All delicious and plenty of coffee this morning. It was busy but it moved quickly. Be prepared to wait if you're here during the breakfast rush hours.
Vegetarian options: Hash browns with tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, peppers would work fine!
Dietary restrictions: Ask about allergens. They have nuts here.
Parking: Free parking lot but it's not very large.
Kid-friendliness: Yes, chocolate chip waffle.
Wheelchair accessibility: Step free access but tables are not really wheelchair accessible.

A friend of mine is making a missuin to visit and review as many Waffle Houses as possible... so breakfast it is. I got the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and Hashbrowns covered and peppered. Other dishes included a bowl and waffle. My biscuit was really good! Not overdone, fluffy and not too thick. Can't go wrong with hashbrowns - nice little crunch on the outside pieces. Coffee is pretty good there as well. It was super busy this morning, but Tammy took very good care of us. It was my second visit and I'd definitely go back.

Expectations already low walking in the door early one morning around 0400. Google says dine in but the location wasnt offering it at the time. So i took an uber there, just to have to turn right around and go home after my 'food' was done. I say 'food' because it was hardly edible and had my stomach in knots. I could have poured a shot of vegetable oil out of my togo container. Staff was decent enough though.

I enjoy their breakfast but the service has been subpar. This morning I placed an online at 10:01 and it was supposed to be ready at 10:23 I received my order after 11:00. Upon arriving home I realized no bacon was in my breakfast. I return to the restaurant and requested a new order but did not receive it. This is the second time this has happened. Truly disappointed and will no return. I would like an apology because I am a weekly customer who has options.

Service was amazing soon as I walked in the door. The young ladies that helped me Jas and Malgarita were very polite and on point with checking on me. And as always Chris (the cook) served up an amazing meal on the grill. My morning started off rough but the atmosphere here picked me up. I’ll be back :)

Only takeout at night? What kind of Waffle House is this? Workers sitting down talking doing nothing. Just there to get a paycheck. Owner needs to fire manager and get new employees that want to work and get good tips. Wanted a decent meal at 2:30 and they were closed. Won't stay in business long running it like this.
