I eat at this location often. I feel like with most chain restaurants it is hit or miss. Too often the waffles and hash browns are under cooked. Just depends on who is on the grill.

I always feel very welcome at a Waffle House and this one was no exception. It has a very good feel to it. I was welcomed in and my server was quick to get my drink order. The coffee is decent and the food was great. The staff is friendly and easy going. I look forward to returning to this location.

Only giving this place one start because a girl specifically named autumn pretended to be my friend and vibe just to get be worked up because someone was BULLYING HER. I stood up for her and ended up getting trespassed from the property smh and I love that particular Waffle House also I thought I had made a REAL FRIEND. 🥺😥 I don’t want to press charges I just refuse to eat there anymore. Everyone one else has good ENERGY though. Asqueroso! Very very much at this point starting to hate durham! Can’t go anywhere as a black man. Also she tried to make a mockery of me being Muslim and calling other people meals who didn’t eat bacon a “Adult” plate smh when is the hate going to stop. STOP THE HATE!!!!!!! Spread Love !!!! I even bought a rose and a card to show my appreciation for the great service I had received. I guess it was all a front smh. I would rate this beneath a one star if I could because I also tipped her like 40$ extra so she made money off of me and I drew her a custom name picture wow! What a “FRIEND”

Food and service was exceptional. What a wonderful experience.
The food was Waffle House food. You either love it or you don't. I love it!! I got the sausage and eggs grit bowl. 😋 However, the staff had a whole argument about nothing for about 10 minutes. If you like entertainment with your meal, then it was quite the event. Unfortunately, the back and forth made it difficult to have a private conversation at the table.

Service was good, not great. My group of 4 were the only ones eating in at the time, this is the reason for the 3 star review. No refills were offered or given on the drinks( 2 sodas, one sweet tea and one water).. excuse me, the sweat tea was offered a refill as we were getting up from the table. The eggs were the biggest disappointment, seeing as the price went up for eggs I assumed the eggs would be from a shell, if they weren't a substitute or the eggs that aren't in a shell, then the eggs were expired. I should have stopped eating them as soon as I tasted them, now I'm having stomach issues and keeping close to the bathroom. I don't think I will be visiting any waffle Houses in the near future, this last visit 5-21-25 has ruined all waffle houses for me.. it's a shame too cuz the waffle house is my go to for quick food that is usually really delicious.

Well I didn't have great expectations coming into a Durham location anyway but thought I would try it out. I came in and sat down with no greeting from staff. I sat down at 9 30 am and as of this post at 9 56 am I still have not been greeted. Still have had no contact with anyone although other customers have come in after me and have sat down and their orders have been taken. Others have came in while writing this post and still Noone has taken my order. One girl behind the counter is to busy on her phone and I think the manager who is not paying attention has been on his phone the whole time. Needless to say after 30 minutes I still have not been asked for my order so I'm leaving this place to go eat somewhere else. Thanks for the experience. Will not ever return .

Really good red gravy on the Cajun omelette and the hash cakes hit the spot when you're a touch hungover. Leah R. was a great server and attentive, got me everything I wanted super quick. First visit here, definitely not the last.
