Waffle House isn't known for amazing food and service, so I with this review with that in mind. The food was good, on par with most Waffle Houses. The service kind of sucked, even for a Waffle House. I had to ask for things multiple times though the guy was really nice. I'm also not used to the loud, storefront style of this store. I was hoping for a less overly bright restaurant.
The "manager," who obviously was too big for his britches kept "schooling" the waitstaff on how to better serve... loudly and incorrectly. "Get the food order before the drink order." Then wouldnt listen to the orders being called out. Waitress had to keep reminding him then he messed up our hashbrown order. We ordered an add on waffle each and our food didnt come with it. I live in the area. This location is usually our go to Waffle House for my family and I. The whole staff are always welcoming! My mom and I had my kids with us (6yr. Old, 2yr. Old, and a 1month old breastfed baby). Now, if you have kids you know sometimes it can be just so overwhelming in public with them. Our waiter Daija saved the day!
