My husband and I visited recently for a bourbon tasting, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.

Our mixologist, Berkay, was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. He shared the history behind each spirit and walked us through the tasting notes in a way that was easy to understand and genuinely enjoyable.

The food menu was another big win, especially as someone who eats vegan. They offered vegan options, which made the experience feel inclusive and well thought out

This is a fantastic spot for date night, a girls’ night, or celebrating something special. They also host tastings, cocktail classes, private parties, and bachelor or bachelorette events, which makes it a great option for future plans.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a memorable experience in Durham that feels both fun and thoughtfully done.

Hidden gem! This place is absolutely great, with a great selection of drinks. The bourbon is really good. Hanna was our bartender, and was amazing. Highly recommend!

Good food and drinks, large space with a good atmosphere!

Weldon Mills Distillery is such a gem! From the moment I walked in, the service was fantastic! Friendly, attentive, and they really know their stuff when it comes to the drinks.

The cocktails are top-notch, all crafted with their own spirits like rum, gin, whiskey, and tequila. I tried a couple and each one was smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. And the food? Absolutely delicious! The brisket nachos were loaded and full of flavor, and the elotes deviled eggs were such a fun twist.

One of the best parts is their $10 tastings, such a great way to try out their gins, vodkas, whiskeys, or tequilas without breaking the bank.

They’ve got their original spot in Weldon and a beautiful location in Durham, which even features a full-service event center and a private tasting room. Both locations have a great atmosphere and make you want to hang out a while.

Overall, Weldon Mills really does have it all, amazing drinks, tasty food, great vibes, and outstanding service. Definitely worth a visit!

Found this little place in my travels and decided to give it a whirl. Parking is available, but there's not a lot of parking here. You will park and walk off spots at all taken. The staff was super friendly and promptly attended to us. We only ordered some of their Bourbon here, however it is worth trying. I ordered the Reserve and had a nice smokey flavor and was flavorful and extremely smooth. If your in the area give this place a stop. The atmosphere is really cool. 2 thumbs up here.

Amazing drinks- not only do they make their own whiskey/bourbon, they also have their own vodka/tequila etc. Will definitely be going back to try their food next time too!

We stopped by this distillery while in Durham for a career fair in the RTP area and it was an awesome place to unwind.
The ambiance had a relaxed, speakeasy vibe, and the bartenders were friendly and eager to chat about the drinks and the space.
We ordered a Spicy Marge and Old Fashioned. They were just what we needed after a long day.

Great environment, friendly staff, reasonable cocktail prices.

Story telling was wonderful, the drinks were good and matched the stories being told. A lot of people dressed up which added to the fun. Would love to attend again but next time at night! Would be spookier then

Excellent atmosphere. My wife and I are near the original Weldon Mills distillery lucky for us. This location in Durham is fantastic. Tim the bar tender was great along with the rest of the staff. Drinks were excellent. My wife and I were very impressed with the Edgar Allen Poe speakeasy that was presented up stairs. Looking forward to future adventures.
