I decided to finally try Where’s The Jerk, as someone I know said it was good. I purchased jerk chicken with peas and rice with cabbage. I have yet to have authentic tasting Jamaican cuisine in NC, but maybe one other place. Anyways, I get home and start eating. There wasn’t much heat until I put on the extra sauce. The peas and rice need gravy on it or more gravy. The sauce did bring the heat. So, of course, I’m digging around for my plantains. Guess what, NO PLANTAINS...

Well, I can’t talk about the service or the atmosphere of where’s the jerk, I had a family member rave about this restaurant and deliver me a plate free of charge just for me to try. This is Hella addicting. I was in love at first bite.

I came for Soul Food Sunday and ordered the turkey wing with collard greens. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and the portion size was perfect. The amount of food you get for the price is a great value. I just wish they offered Soul Food Sundays more often!
