Exceeded expectations - Airport restaurants are usually poor-quality food and slow service. This was an exception. Despite being very busy, our online order (done at the table with a QR code) came quickly and the food was actually good. The wings were crispy with a great sauce. The pulled pork sandwich was very good. Their drink menu is extensive, but not cheap. However, the Manhattan cocktail (over $22) was a large serving – so worth the price. The waitress checked in on us several times – a pleasant change from the usual MIA waitstaff in airports.
This is a cool spot to get w drink and a bite before a flight! Love the artsy belt buckle wall and the super nice staff. Tammy, our server, was lovely! We ordered the turkey sandwich and quesadilla! Perfect before flying.
Not bad for airport food!
Service was rude and slow and the live music was so loud you couldn’t talk to people at your own table.
Staff friendly but food and drink were not good.
Good food, they just do not give any warning about them closing online
I wish I could do less than 1 star...Waiting for my flight that was delayed several times. Wife and I wanted to go in and have a drink to wait. Ignored several times by several people even though sign wait to be seated. Finally ONE nice lady came to us and told us to sit anywhere we liked. Attempted to go sit at a EMPTY table that we saw was empty for several minutes, VERY RUDE waitress denied us saying NO I WANT TO KEEP THIS OPEN FOR PARTIES OF 4 OR 5 clearly there were plenty of places for bigger groups. Yes it was a little crowded but since it was just two of us I guess our money wasn't ENOUGH FOR HER. We promptly said I guess we can go find somewhere else and she agreed, as in another place for a drink! Thanks BurgerFI for our drinks!..
If you are ever traveling through RDU Airport, Whiskey River is a must!!!!! The bartender Virginia is an absolute gem!!! Consistency all the time and customer service you welcome to see at an airport. Enjoy!
Great service from Nicy and Erika!! We loves the coffee!!
Destiny was an absolute gem!! I arrived early for my flight and she greeted me quickly and made sure I was accommodated throughout my entire stay. I’m also a bartender and seeing her meticulously clean and make sure everything was stocked and ready for the day gave me all the good feels! You definitely have an amazing employee! Thank you!

The app doesn't work. The service leaves much to be desired. Order was wrong. I don't mind paying airport prices. We all know how this works but this is probably the worst airport dining I've ever experienced. I had a bottle of water and a sandwich, $30+ and tiny portions. Don't waste your time or money.
A regular stop when traveling at RDU. The food is usually good. Service is hit or miss. You have the ability to order via a QR code on the table or with a server. The bar service is solid. I really enjoy catching live music. It feels less like an airport bar and grill when they have live music. Seating is a bit limited but I’ve never waited for a seat.
My expectations aren’t high for an airport restaurant, but tonight I had a great meal here. Salmon (moist, well seasoned, perfectly cooked), broccoli and tater tots (I requested the sub from roasted potatoes). I totally enjoyed it! My waiter Taba was friendly and helpful when I couldn’t get the menu open on my phone. The manager Erica was lovely. And the singer was enjoyable. Nice surprise.
Our server Cameron recommended the tots. they were crispy and really good. Drinks were great and the service was excellent. Well managed.
Great service and great atmosphere
