Wimpy's is KING when it comes to fast food burgers in the Bull City! They grind their own beef every morning, NO FROZEN junk here folks! Maybe that's why they've received write-ups in some of the best papers and Food magazines in the Country. Too bad they close @ 3PM!😕🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔

This place is amazing, especially considering how old some of the staff is getting. Larry is still a sex symbol at 70 and the I think it's so nice he lets that boy with special needs work for him. He does great work.

I've been told home awesome this place is and I finally got around to checking it out today. I'm sorry to report that it was just ok. It's cool that it's been on Man vs Food and a local favorite, but I was expecting better quality. I ordered a double cheeseburger and fries. The fries were bad. I didn't like the seasoning and overall quality of the fry. The burger was so-so. You order at the counter and it took close to ten minutes before my order came out and they weren't super busy. You have to wait in a cramped area and I felt like I was on top of the person next to me. I will try them out again in a few months, but I won't be heading back here soon.

Hole in the wall non-descript run down looking type place with no seating and just order at counter, but it is delicious for what it is. Greasy comfort food. Biscuits for breakfast, burgers, hot dogs, barbecue sandwiches and a few other things all priced extremely reasonably. Staff are pleasant and know many of their customers. There is a reason this play has survived for many years and has many loyal customers. Delicious though. Good some notoriety because Man v. Food visited for the Garbage Burger.

if it's near closing time (2pm) and you're cutting it close just call them and place an order while you're on your way. (919) 286-4380

Get the double-stacked cheeseburger, complete with crispy bacon, served on biscuits. As seen on Man v Food: Durham.

The biscuits are divine. Literally. As in, from God.
