Great Indy coffee shop on the east side of downtown with great selection of hot and cold coffees and teas. Cute enough to go for a date and casual enough to just hangout, sip coffee, and catch up on life

A nice space with excellent coffee and polite service. A plea: would you *please* consider having the music volume lower? The thumping bass and the death-metal screaming really can make the space less inclusive for people who can't handle an atmosphere that loud for a variety of reasons that could include hearing issues, migraines, neuroatypicality and many others. Not all of us can wear noise-canceling headphones, due to head and neck reasons. The decibel level near the couches is really uncomfortable. Most people come to work, and bring their own music, so there is no benefit to it being *quite that loud*. This small step towards disability inclusion would be much appreciated.

I will come back and make this a 5-star instead of 4-star review if I notice differences! Thanks for considering.

Just moved into the Duke neighborhood from socal, been coffee-hopping for the last two weeks, was eager to find a sophisticated and chill coffee place. I NEED a chill coffee place to properly energize, read and think. I'm no connoisseur but I can tell they're really serious about good coffee, and the interior is so chill and relaxed. Plenty of white noise for those who sometimes need to get away from a deafeningly silent library or university setting. Everyone seems super friendly too. 5/5

Coffee was great and the staff was super friendly. Croissant was also excellent. Lots of space to work or read for a while. Beers and bottles of wine to go available.

Great vibes. These guys have put together a solid coffee shop that prioritizes conversation and social interaction but still allows for working on your laptop. Great place.

I came in with my boyfriend about a week ago and got a matcha latte with whole milk and vanilla syrup and a blueberry pastry. The pastry was delicious but my matcha could’ve definitely been better. I had high hopes when I read that this cafe uses matcha sourced from Japan. They nailed the matcha flavour but the milk tasted watered down, not sure if they use low-fat milk or what. There was also no vanilla or sweetness to it. I saw the barista put the syrup in so it had the syrup in it but I guess they buy/make low quality sweeteners.
