Placed an order online waited 20 minutes at the restaurant to get my order that was already ready just sitting in the kitchen and not placed in the pick up shelf while I was just standing waiting at the pick up shelves to pick up my order. If you're gonna have a pick up shelf, put your pick up orders there as instructed to the customers otherwise remove the whole shelf and direct customers to go to the register. I should not be asking a cashier for my order that I placed online and it should have been ready for pick up at the pick up shelf.
Awful service, additionally, for some reason the prices on the app are one dollar extra than the prices in the store which is not fair overall awful experience bad customer service bad management

Youngings were moving a little slow today and seemed lost at times. I ordered before 3 people (bigger orders) and they received their food before me. I only had 2 Zax meals 🤔 Hopefully the next visit will be better! 😊

I’ve been a loyal customer of Zaxby’s for years, and I visit this location regularly, especially since it’s near my new house. However, after my experience on 1/20 with the manager at the 3820 N Roxboro St, Durham, NC location, I am beyond upset and no longer want to return until this is resolved.
Here’s what happened: I accidentally placed an order for pickup after hours on 1/19 via the Zaxby’s app. I wasn’t able to call until the next morning, 1/20, when I explained the situation and asked for a refund. The manager’s response? He was unbelievably rude, telling me, “I mean it’s not our fault you ordered after hours.” Really? I didn’t ask for a lecture, just a simple solution.
I tried asking again, just to confirm, whether a refund was an option, and his response was, “It’s ready, and you can come pick it up, but as far as a refund, I’m not sure that’s happening.” I was stunned.
And here’s the kicker—I never even got the food. I was told it was ready, but at 10 AM, after a full night’s wait, I had no interest in picking up food I thought I’d ordered the night before. The manager was rude, dismissive, and showed no effort to resolve the issue in a polite or professional manner.
At this point, it wasn’t even about the $10. I didn’t care about the money—it’s about the terrible customer service I received. The manager was rude, condescending, and offered no solution.
What kind of service is this? I’ve worked in customer service for years, and this experience was appalling. I would've been totally understanding if he politely explained that a refund wasn’t possible, but instead, I was met with rude, unprofessional behavior. This was completely unnecessary.
I am incredibly disappointed by the way I was treated, especially by someone in a managerial position. I expect better from a company I’ve supported for so long. I demand to speak with corporate about this. Until this issue is addressed, I will no longer be giving this Zaxby’s my business. I don’t want to eat at a place where customers are treated this poorly.
Disrespectful, rude, and completely unprofessional. Not the Zaxby’s I know and love.

I Love coming to Zaxbys on Roxboro rd. It's my Favorite one to go to and I've never had a problem with them until today...and reason for this one time complaint (I hope) I'm a regular there and I always get the Cobb Salad the most and Normally it's a woman who prepares the orders (food) and I swear she's the BEST 👌 👍!!! But today on 12/09/2024 @ 5: 16 pm there was a young man with glasses who made my food who doesn't cut up your tomatoes or your bacon and I'm assuming he just doesn't care the way he makes the salads because I had a puddle of liquid of something...either from the tomatoes or cucumbers or water bc I had to take 3 Napkins to absorb all of that liquid from under my lettuce which wasn't much of that either...from the bottom of my salad tray and that cost me a lil over 10 dollars and I'm not happy at all....Please do better bc this is the first time and I Pray it's the last time.....

This is my local Zaxbys and I end up there about once a month.
Let me tell you this: I have never, ever ordered food that wasn’t served so hot that I had to let it cool.
The food is ALWAYS hot and fresh. And therefore: delicious.

I went in the drive thru, I order the house salad ?. The lettuce and cucumbers underneath the top layer looks as if it has been frozen??? I put pictures below. I normally don't have a problem but I live a good 40 minutes away, I was hungry.

Teenage kids making the food talking and playing they forget to put all your ingredients in the salads. I ordered a Cobb salads chicken was missing and some veggies. Ridiculous!!!

The employees are always very professional, nice and pleasant. The restaurant is always very clean and tidy. I actually prefer Zaxby's salads over Chik Fil A. Last week, I went in just to try the new taco's and banana pudding. I'm glad I did because the taco's and banana pudding were absolutely delicious.
Dietary restrictions: I don't eat red meat. So knowing I have so many chicken options is refreshing.
Parking: There are always lots of spots to park.

For fresh food, I will never mind pulling down but, to wait 20 minutes for it to be wrong is disappointing. We had to go in after an more than impatient employee taking our order says we couldn't customize our food. Clearly she was just ready to get off and didn't want to push the extra buttons to take off the unwanted ingredients because, she kept talking over me as I was ordering, asking was I done ordering before I was done speaking, and before we could get our food she was walking out the door.
We spent over $60 dollars just for the food to be wrong. Thankfully, we were able to give the food away to someone that eats pork bacon.

I've been going ro this place for years and it's gotten worse everytime. I don't normally take the time to leave reviews but I just sat in the drive through line for 30 minutes they came and put cones behind me and then the girl at the window tried to tell me I drove around the Combs and they wouldn't serve me literally 2 seconds after they took the person's order in front of me. I watched as they joked around (not working) then I was the last person in line and AFTER they took everyone else's order After waiting patiently for almost 30 minutes they told me the fryers were off *after they took the 4 orders in front of me Absolutely ridiculous! I was there 25 minutes before they closed and was turned away 15 minutes after because they Because they don't have the mental capability to perform a drive through job

Worst Zaxby’s I been at , my food was messed up and the manager dreads came to assist me and was very nasty and disrespectful kids all on they phones tables not wiped down , and by the way it was a curbside that was never brought out to me !
