Looking for some delicious poke bowls Zenfish is the perfect place. Immaculate service from Leo and Gordon making me feel right at home. And when my food was ready right away it did not disappoint, delicious! I highly recommend the nachos, sriracha aioli, and the miso cookies are the perfect complement.

I grabbed a poke bowl at ZenFish in Durham that was fresh, light, and super customizable.

I think they are trying, just missing the mark. I really appreciated that the allergens on the menu were (mostly) clearly listed (the proteins could be reviewed, only one was listed as GF but clearly there were more, and the bases didn’t have any allergens listed at all, which led me to assume everything was GF but you never know with poke— sometimes there’s soy sauce in the rice, so some clarification would be appreciated). Anyways, listing allergens is a huge plus for me. But the ingredients just were not that fresh— the salad greens were wilted, I had to pick out more than a few yucky brown ones, the cucumbers were also not fresh— they were all soggy and wet, and the rice was kind of watery/wet too, yet almost undercooked? Not great. Also the sauces had way too much vinegar. Overall, I was disappointed and won’t be returning.

Absolutely love this place! They have so many options and love their customizable bowls. Try the truffle ponzu!

Went to get take out this past Saturday and got a poke bowl with their house tuna and white rice. When I opened the bowl, all of the tuna was brown/grey and the rice was mushy. We usually love this place but I was really disappointed in this experience.

Ordered a large bowl with Mango, Avocado, truffle ponzu, and seaweed salad. There was no ponzu or seaweed, a single tiny cube of mango, and a slice of brown avocado. Honestly the most disappointing take out I have had in a long time.

Went because past reviews suggested good for gluten free but honestly it's such a risk because every ingredient is just open. Nearly impossible to avoid cross contamination with that system.

Dietary restrictions: Questionable for celiac/gluten free. Folks were ambivalent about cross contamination despite gluten ingredients just sitting out next to everything. Not safe.

We ordered 4 Poké yesterday. 2 of them didn’t have any sauce. All 4 tasted bland. Rice was dry. Poké works on the west Main Street tastes much better and more reasonably priced.

Great little spot on 9th St with a wide variety of choices and very high quality ingredients. Plus, no plastic is used! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and look forward to returning.
