We originally tried to go to the llama winery, but it was packed and the line for the tasting room was super long. We googled nearby wineries and found this one and decided to go here instead, which was an excellent decision. This place is super cute, and we were able to just walk right in and start tasting wines. All of the wines were great! It was hard to choose which one we liked best. Really great wine and better staff! Lady that did our wine tasting today was amazing. She took her time describing the wines and was beyond friendly. She was a grad student at wake forest and had top notch service. Would recommend to all.

I'm really not sure why I've never reviewed Flint Hill before. I used to love their wine and restaurant back in the day. The people are still lovely and friendly. Unfortunately, the wine has not held up as well as I would've hoped throughout the years. This visit we chose to do flights of the drier reds, and sadly, nothing was really that recognizable. Most of the wines had a strange acidity that flashed more copper on the pallet than bright or deep red. Will definitely be back...read full review
