El Parral Mexican Restaurant

I am a firm believer that people in the service industry should not have to rely on tips to make ends meet. I usually tip whenever I got out but tonight was different. My server was very inattentive and didn’t check on our table. Our drinks sat empty for about 10-15 mins and when we were ready to go our server was no where to be found. He watched as I signed my receipt and was upset that I didn’t leave a tip. I told him that his service did not warrant a tip. He proceeded to argue with me and said “if you don’t have money to tip don’t eat out”. He even went as far as telling me I should tip 3 or 5 dollars after I told him about his service. Overall I think El parral is a great restaurant but I will not be eating there again.

I don't know if it was just a bad night, but the food was fairly bland & the margaritas tasted off. The server was friendly & accommodating though, & service overall was great.

I like the food and it's a nice place but I really hate it when the waiters call me "cousin" please teach the wait staff that because I'm Hispanic or because I'm wearing my work clothes they don't have to talk to me like that that really bothers me. bothers.

The moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles and authentic Mexican decor. The chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful, setting the perfect stage for the main course. I opted for the carne asada tacos, and they were simply divine – the meat was tender and bursting with flavor. My dining companion raved about the enchiladas verdes. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was lively and inviting. Can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious menu.

The server Miara is an amazing part of this restaurant! Huge portions of great food! Icy mugs with cold beer and delicious chips and salsa. What’s not to love , this place is great!
