Menu on Google is outdated, they don't have a Cuban sandwich anymore, which was the only reason why I wanted to try this place.Ordered a chicken salad sandwich and "chicken pot pie" soup, which was actually just chicken and dumplings. Chicken pot pie has vegetables, this soup did not. It was also too salty and tasteless otherwise.The chicken salad was decent, didn't like that it was sweet but at least it didn't have grapes or nuts.Hubby got Brunswick stew that he said was more like beef and vegetable soup. Almost no pork in it, and the tomato taste totally overpowered it. Not Brunswick stew at all.Will not be back.

A couple of weeks after the lockdowns started March or April 2020, I decided to give this business some support and get some take out. It had become one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I was told there was a limited menu due to the difficulty getting their normal ingredients. I ordered off the limited menu...their normal fair....and one of the two dishes was not fit for my dog. Nauseating. Literally pieces (few) of old ham in a odd old broth and not too much else. It left a bad taste in my mouth, no pun intended. I can't bring myself to go back. It's sad.

Bad customer service over the phone. I was hung up on for saying “um... (trying to think) I’ll pass but thank you!”. I couldn’t believe that because they’re known for having mostly elderly customers so you’d think they would be more kind!

Best place to eat in Edenton. Everything is fresh and made to order. The service is phenomenal. The waitresses can’t do enough for you. Has a very relaxed atmosphere. The owner is very personable and a very good cook. This is the place I go to for a wonderfully fresh salad or a perfectly cooked steak. The sides are simple and southern and taste great. If you go you will be hooked as I am
