Absolutely horrible experience. Paid $68 for slim rations of food, get to table and its all cold...even the collard greens were cold. Pork was so cold it was slimy. Went up to tell them and was completely blown off by staff and manager. never again.....****Update*****, we took all our BBQ home since it was cold and warmed it for dinner....my wife and I both got food poisoning and had a rough night in the bathroom...Beware!
First time there... it was a great experience. The beef brisket was excellent! Definitely will make it a new weekly trip.

Visited their new location on Broad St, Edenton, NC. I had the pulled pork tray. It came with cornbread and two sides. The sides were healthy portions. I added a jalapeno cheddar sausage link. All the food was superb. No frills dining, no servers, which was nice. The dining room was packed during lunchtime, so I got mine to go. Plenty enough food to split with my dinner. The cost was more than I normally would spend on lunch, but similar to other BBQ these days. Again, plenty of food on the tray. I would definitely go there again in the future. BTW, I didn't have any, but the brisket looked amazing. That will be my slection next visit. They smoke daily and serve until the meats run out for that day.
Extremely overpriced. Sixty dollars for a small serving of meat and some cornbread. Go to Watermans and get better food for better prices.

It had been a while since I had visited Old Colony. I love their new location and the vibe of the place. The covered outdoor seating is a plus. The food was good, but I was underwhelmed by the meat portion of my order. I assumed that since I was paying quite a bit more than a sandwich, the portion would be greater. I really liked their mac & cheese. The service was excellent. If you haven't been, I would recommend giving them a try.
