After working from a picnic table for two hours, it was time to have some lunch. I stopped in to this Wendy's. I stayed for an hour, which was as long as I could handle their warm restaurant today. I think there was an A/C issue.
I was able to order on the Wendy's app and not too much later, my burger was ready. After filling up on their Coke Freestyle machine, I spent about an hour here. That included charging my laptop and phone and a refill.
The sandwich was assembled properly and the fries were luke warm but the sugar free lemonade was a hit. The restaurant and parking lot were clean and it was quite busy for noontime. But overall, just OK.

Tried at least 6 times to get a frosty. They either don't have any or only one flavor.
Terrible service and messed up my order.
Food is good but the ice cream machine is always down !
Decent quality fast food

At 7:49 PM, on a Monday night, this place didn't have any Frosty's. I had to ask for clarification, because Frosty's are one thing Wendy's is renowned for.
To this restaurants management, to Wendy's Corporate, you are failing.
I guess you are why the local Mexican restaurants are doing so well.

Just wait in 30 minutes for somebody to take our order finally got tired of waiting restaurant was empty and we left
Lately, it seems my order is wrong a lot, whenever I get drive thru.....
Check your order at the window before driving off! I learned my lesson after getting a plain burger in place of the baconator burger 🍔 😔
**update: lately it seems like the attitude behind the counter is just plain unfriendly and almost rude at times. I would love for someone to change my mind, but after being kind to the staff every single visit lately, and for most visits to end in them ignoring my friendly words towards them... I'm just fed up.
Like why be that way towards someone who's being nice to you?**
Please feel free to reach out to me. I'd love to see this change!

Several times I have been here for lunch, especially on Sundays, and lunch items aren't available. It's not like I'm there at 10:30 in the morning, more like 12:30/1:00 Sunday is the worst. At this point I just don't even go anymore.

Meant to post this review sooner. I don’t reside in Edenton, but go there often to visit. I almost always go to Wendy’s and I’ve never had a good experience. This most recent one specifically was the nail in the coffin. We visited Wendys on 12/1/24 and ordered a double Baconator with no ketchup or mayo and a Ghost Pepper Ranch Chicken Sandwich with no tomato. After getting our order we checked our bag and realized the entire order was wrong. There was a regular cheeseburger and then a Baconator with SO MUCH ketchup and mayo (specifically asked for this off). I don’t eat burgers so we went back inside to get what we paid for so I could eat. Upon going back inside, the staff were incredibly rude and not only that, the manager was even more rude. The manager was some younger girl who immediately caught an attitude with my fiancé and basically insinuated that we were lying. They JUST saw us in the drive-thru, we never left the lot. We can in again not even 5 minutes after receiving our order. Eventually we did get the food but it took about 20 minutes for them to even get it to us. The fries were unsalted, they still put tomato on the chicken sandwich (which was better bc at least I could take that off), and the food was just not good quality. I go to Wendy’s in my hometown often and have always received great food and great service. But this Wendy’s needs a serious revamping of their staff team.
Needless to say, do not waste your money here! Taco Bell & McDonalds are closer and at least they have nicer staff members & the food comes out correctly. If you’re going to be rude to your customers, don’t work in customer service!

I have stopped at this Wendy's several times, and every time I've tried to get a frosty, they either don't have any available or not the right flavor. Another disappointment was the size of the BLT Crispy Chicken sandwich. It looked like something meant for a child. Let me finish with the service. I went through the drive-thru, and the man at the window was rude. I guess he missed how customers should be treated. He seemed quite annoyed when I brought to his attention that my frosty was wrong. No apologies for not having what I actually ordered. I was not asked if I wanted a substitute... just expected to take a different flavor. I received more attitude when I just asked for a credit for the unwanted frosty. Go to the McDonalds down the street. Their service (and food) is much better. I won't be going to this Wendy's again!
