Great food at a reasonable price. Superb Cajun food dominates the menu, but a variety of other choices are also available. I had Cajun Shrimp and Grits, my wife had a grilled Turkey Reuben, after we shared perfectly blackened Ahi Tuna Chunks!

The food was very good, the surf and turf was omg so amazing.. The red beans and rice good. One thing was i ran out of hush puppies ( you get 2) I wanted 1 more and was told I would be charged extra. But my fiancée enjoyed his ribeye. Well, go back.

Food was very good and large portions. Service was good. The meal came out fairly quick but I had to wait for silverware. Also, the Air Conditioner was blowing cold air right on me. So watch where you sit.

Let me start with to my server it was not you, as NONE of this was in any way your fault. She kept my drinks refilled and was super polite and respectful. I see this opinion is shared among some others in the reviews and honestly, I wish I had read them before coming here. I saw a video on Facebook as an ad for this place from a content creator and sent it to my boyfriend who lives in Elizabeth City. The food was just flat out terrible. I ordered the spinach and artichoke dip without bacon (accommodated us
no problem - not the issue) and it was 90% cream cheese. It didn’t taste like spinach or artichoke. Just cream cheese. We ordered a prime rib to split as we had a large brunch. We asked for it to be medium. The “prime rib” came out raw. Not even rare. Raw. My boyfriend eats medium rare steak and he said no, this is just not cooked. We sent it back (server had no issue, she was great) and the same steak (“prime rib”) that we had cut a piece off of returns to us on a new plate, now well done. Now aside from this, this was no cut of prime rib that I had ever seen. I’m fairly sure we got some kind of other cut of steak. So in total we each got about 3 bites of some kind of beef and the rest was entirely fat. The Mac and cheese was mostly just Mac, not too much cheese. It was so dry. The candied yams - honestly after everything else I tasted I don’t know if they were actually good or everything else was just that bad. Again, nothing on the wait staff that I encountered. I had heard such good things about this place and left highly disappointed and hungry.

My siblings and I ate here for the very first time and we thought it was so cool. It was literally like a hole in the wall. I ordered the cajun seafood pasta and there was nothing cajun about it. However, it was nice and hot, people are nice and attentive, bathrooms are clean, and as long as you bring your own cajun seasoning... you'll have an amazing meal. Also, I recommend the frog legs with the cajun sauce... once again bring your own seasoning tho.

Ebony was our server and did an amazing job. The atmosphere was very cool with the train and backstory.. The food was a hit or miss: The chicken was overly dry, pineapples and beans were not enjoyed to eat m, the apples were tasteless, my meal was expensive. My husband’s meal was ok, still pricy for what he received. Salad was green, slaw was good, and fries were yummy - so that was good. Sides are better than the main course.
