Down home country cooking like mama used to fix. Breading on the fried food is light and crispy and full of flavor. Owners and staff are great....we will be back!

I went to this restaurant yesterday 3/30/24. The people and the atmosphere is great yet the food is lacking. The fish was hot and pretty, looked real delicious but it had no taste at all. Nothing was seasoned, the baked potato was too hard, the collard tasted like they came straight out of a can and my wife's fried wings looked like they were boiled. She said they were dry. My granddaughter said that even the garlic bread wasn't good. I hope they can do better because the people are really nice.

Southern Soul FoodThe She Crab Soup ranked with some of the best I have ever had.Cornbread melted in your mouth, with the perfect amount of sweet and spicy!!The crab cake was on point. And the Tuna Appetizer cooked perfectly! We left stuffed!!

Found this restaurant on Google and was in for a great dining experience!!A pure “hidden gem” in the downtown area!! The decor was a surprise compared to what the block looked like outside! The owner met us at the door and seated us. Then it was on! Our waiter was a great guy named “Castile” and he set the atmosphere before we even ordered!! Turned my wife out on their pork skins and malt vinegar!!Then the food!! We both had the seafood platter broiled and ended up being stuffed!!So bottom line, in the Elizabeth City area and not dine in this restaurant, you have committed a crime!! Hats off to the owners and staff!!

So, we have heard a few people rave about this restaurant a number of times but my husband and I always forget to try it. Well, tonight we remembered! He saw the prime rib special post that came up on a facebook scroll. We called and ordered for take out, only to find out that the special was dine in only. Ok, no problem we understood because some items do not travel well. So, we ordered two Sirloin steaks, yams, and mac and cheese. For dessert we got a slice of both the banana pudding pound cake and the red velvet cake. I was so disappointed!☹️ The Mac and cheese had the taste of too old grease. The sirloin were very thin and small, and the red velvet cake icing was not what I expected for a cream cheese icing. I just expected a lot more for what we paid. But I definitely will give it another try! Hopefully better luck next time!

This is a nice, family friendly restaurant. The staff/ownership are very genuine people and it shows in the food. Each meal tastes like it was made at home. The scallops were nice and sweet, and my shrimp had great flavor.

I had to review this wonderful restaurant because it hit my soul. First time here and I can tell you it won’t be my last.Came for date night with my husband and walked in to the smell of heaven. The restaurant itself is very nicely set up. The staff is one of the most exceptional groups I have had the pleasure of being greeted by, served by, and fed by! We even met one of the owners as he casually walked by and asked how we were and thanked us for coming. Now to the food….I got the crab stuffed salmon and my husband got the prime rib, both were a special of the day.The salmon was absolutely PERFECTLY cooked and so so good! My husband said his prime rib was very tender and delicious! Their collard greens are fantastic and their cranberry coleslaw was wonderful! Not to mention a bowl of heaven with their banana pudding!!I was expecting a mediocre meal, only because there is so much of that here in EC…..BUT what I received was an amazing experience of fantastic food and a truly heartwarming atmosphere! If you have never tried Allecious, it’s an absolute MUST!!!
