This is not a high brow restaurant. If you hold your pinky out when you sip your drink, go somewhere else. If you want good seafood at reasonable prices in an atmosphere where everybody feels like they are with friends, this is the place. But be advised, large groups are difficult. We were a party of 10. We took seats at the wrap around bar 2 at a time as they came available. By the time the last of us was seated, they were trying to run the first that were seated out so that they could seat some of the crowd waiting by the door. In a hurry? Stay home. Need attention? Stay home. We drove an hour plus to get here and I can't wait to do it again.

When Guy Fieri talks of dives on Triple D, this place is the definition. But it doesn't need to be fancy to be a hidden gem. What makes this place stand out are the oysters, whether steamed, fried, or on the half shell, and the fact that the bar only opens during oyster season. And if you're in the mood for crab, shrimp or fried fish, they've got those too. It's a drive out there, but trust me when I say it's worth the effort and gas.

Oysters were great! Food came out steaming hot! Great atmosphere and the staff were friendly and always checking on our drinks.
Their staff should get a 5 star rating. Top notch service. Fried Food needs some work. No taste in flounder, scallops were tough. Shrimp and crab cake were the only foods that had some flavor and not overcooked. Husband didnt eat the clam strips.

This is not a fine dining establishment—it’s not very pretty. They only have bud light on tap. But the locals love it and the lot is often crowded. And the oysters and the seafood shine here. The flounder was exceptional, and I’m think of going back for the catfish. The one exception? The crab cakes—avoid them. Solid friendly service. And the prices? Very, very reasonable.
