Terrible customer service. cupcakes sitting out pointed to the one I wanted and was told I can't pick the ones I want even when I'm paying for them I had to take what they gave me. Guess what I do not! I left!!!!

Just moved here and decided to try our local eateries. We purchased a chicken pot pie, a blueberry pie, some cookie, slice of chocolate cake and lemon bar. All were delicious, fresh and very tasty.

Phenomenally fresh and exquisite quality! A smidge higher in prices and a bit conservative— mainly with the thin size of cake slices, but no need to stay away. One of the freshest and tastiest markets anywhere.

Atmosphere: Well, I remember going here a few years ago and eating in house. I came back after COVID and they no longer have in house dining, only pick up orders. The interior shop is always great to browse in. It's fun to look at the food in the coolers and at the pastries, cookies and cakes in the displays. The walk in area is big but can get busy at lunch time. Food: Excellent, I have only gotten sandwiches and every time, they are excellent. I tend to get the BLT and ask them to put it on a croissant toasted. I usually get a side of fries however, they have homemade ranch dressing so with the fries or a salad, it's excellent. You can also get full take home meals out of their coolers like pot pies. Not sure what else they have but they got some stuff. Also, you can purchase a full container of their homemade salad dressing. Service: Great, you just go up to the counter, pay and walk out with your stuff. Overall: Known for good desserts and sandwiches. I highly recommend this place. If eating healthy was never a concern, I would have lunch here everyday. Not that their food is unhealthy but lets face it, you can't eat whatever you want all willy-nilly.
We love Kathy's, everything we get from there is so good. Easy to grab and bake dinners, chicken Salad too. Love it!

Ordered some desserts for Easter only a couple of hours before closing, and staff had everything packed and ready to go. I was a little worried when I saw the plastic wrap and was told they did that to keep it fresh longer since we were eating it on Saturday and not that day. I was wondering if it was not that fresh already, WHY? Silly me, I've never had anything but fresh desserts from here before. Of course, when we opened everything up on Saturday, it was fresh and so delicious as usual! Kathy's never disappoints, whether it's desserts or a take-home meal or a quick chicken salad to go, it's nice to have a home-cooked alternative to go to, other than a fried chicken place or the usual pizza order.

My Grandaughters and I love coming here. There food is so good and taste like home made. I don't live in Elizabeth City but I try to go there when ever I can. Wish they were open on weekends.

The chicken salad cold plate with double fruit is my jam! They also have homemade dressings, cold salads, a ton of desserts, take and bake items, smoothies, and so much more. The service is always friendly and I never have to wait long. This is still a take out situation so there is no where to dine in.
