Ghetto. The food is always cold even if you tell them fresh. They always are forgetting something. Food always tastes old. It’s ridiculous. This location is worst then the one on Ehringhaus, how is that possible??

Breakfast time is the only time I'd order here. Every order I've placed after 7pm has at least one mistake if not an error with every aspect of my order. Additionally, I've only encountered one individual who didn't appear to think my presence was the complete ruination of his day after breakfast. Don't bother customizing your order after breakfast as special requests aren't even taken as polite suggestions and asking for a correction will be treated like Americans asking Congress for Medicare for All... The only reason I don'tt rate this McDonald's even lower is because of how stellar the breakfast crew's customer service & attention to detail are... If you want McDonald's after breakfast, hit up the one on W Ehringhaus or North Road St...also, if the doors are locked and it's before close, they're probably short staffed... good luck figuring that out on your own, however, as no one will be compelled to post signage to explain or provide any guidance for customers who've ordered ahead in the app and may intend to pick up their order at the counter or have table service rather than utilizing drive thru or curbside options... Leaving feedback about such experiences and offering solutions (in my experience) results in a reply from McDonald's that expecting communication and consistency is unreasonable... So, since you'll have to use your vehicle to get your order during dinner hours anyway, regardless of your order type and requested method of fulfillment, I suggest traveling the extra 5 or so minutes to a McDonald's (like any of the other 2 in a Elizabeth City) that won't make their bad day your problem by default.

The lady at window one did not even look at us. She just stuck her arm out the window with our receipt. The service at this mcdonald's is horrible.

I’ve been here multiple times and the food is always good (except the fries are cold about half the time) but the wait is hit or miss. Even when there is no line or only a few cars, I usually am always told to pull forward and wait for my food. The employees are always nice and respectful.

usually have an ok experience but today was just awful. starting at the speaker i was cut off the first time i asked for 3 ranch so i say it again. it doesnt pop up on the screen so i know ill need to check the bag. get to the second window and am handed my tea with basically no ice(didnt ask for light ice) and what ice i did have was melted by the time i got to the intersection by ruby tuesday. i get my bag and no ranch so i ask once again for 3 ranch and am handed 2. it really not that big of a deal but ive asked 3 times, one of which is to a persons face, just to not be handed what i just asked for. and to top it all off my burger was stone cold. like i said usually this isnt my experience at this mcds but today….

Chaotic staff with no organization. Food was cold, fries were half cooked. Took around 10 minutes to receive everything. Also, the staff overheard the staff openly mocking a special needs person.

I got a crispy chicken biscuit and it wasn’t cooked all the way
Lengthy wait in the drive thru for a mobile order. I got stuck sitting at the first window for about 30 seconds and the employee opened the window to tell me my order was over $21 (my prepaid mobile order was $5). Grabbed my food at the second window and was on my way to later discover I’d not been given napkins nor the sauce for my nuggets.

For the life of me I can't figure out what is wrong with this place. From the outside it looks like a very nice place and the food is generally okay. But the wait staff acted like they took satan pills washed down with turpentine before going to work. The lady who waited on us got mad at me because I actually dared to ask a question about my order.
