Fabulous food and fabulous atmosphere! Friendly and attentive waiter made for a great experience

All aspects of our experience at Montero's were excellent. The prime rib was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Great appetizers and mixed breadbasket. They have delightful signature cocktails. I highly recommend Montero's. Best to make a reservation.

We were celebrating a 95th birthday with a group of 10. Service was outstanding and food was as great. Never disappointed at Monteros. Atmosphere is always welcoming. Like dining with family

Both first and second trip. Over an hour to receive our dinner. Second trip, food was not worth it. A 4”piece of mahi and 5 asparagus is not a meal for $30. Quality and quantity was garbage. We are local who will never go back

Apparently the Chef/owner likes having the government meals on wheels money support him. So his business has been highly neglected. Food especially. They do not like Seafood allergens in their place of business and makes no quams about it. They tried to have me cancel my reservation. I could not and they would not even accommodate a meal for me. I ate the lettuce which was 4.00 and the portion was less than what I fed my rabbit. As a retired Chef it would have been very easy to cook a pork chop in a skillet rather than a deep fat fryer where they cook everything.French fries to chicken and fish. Servsafe teaches to prepare in separate fryers but most privately owned businesses do not feel obligated to follow the rule.

Food was excellent. Waitress was polite and attentive giving us plenty of time to decide on our meals. Checked on us periodically to make sure we didn't need anything. Food came out hot and we didn't wait an inordinate amount of time between appetizers and the main course.

Nice, casual restaurant with great food and excellent service. First time eating here and definitely will come back!

One of the best dining experiences I've had! No seriously. The service, food, charm of the house/restaurant and everything in between wasn't just good, it was worth raving about... which I will be.

Williamsburg Area Bicyclists in town for Cycle NC Coastal Ride. Had a group dinner for 30 people. They accommodated us and did a FANTASTIC job. Food was terrific and served very quickly. All the staff did a great job. Thank you!

Exceptional service! They didn't know it was my grandmothers 84th birthday until we checked in and once we got to the take she had a printed personalized card, decorative napkins and a balloon.

We were geeeted promptly and had great service, however the food was mediocre in my opinion. I had the steak special with poblano Mac & cheese. The noodles were mushy bc they had been overcooked & the special flavoring was not notable The crab dip appetizer was basic as well. It's a good family restaurant with great service but the food won't exactly wow you. I saw the mgr/ owner visiting tables to make sure everything was great which u don't see much. The staff really cares; just wish the food was a bit more elevated .

I had an exceptional dining experience at Montero's Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic evening. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure every aspect of the meal was perfect. A special shoutout to the owner, Andy, who personally checked in with us and made us feel right at home—his passion for creating an amazing dining experience truly shines through. As for the food, I have to say the Katsu Chicken & Ramen was the absolute highlight! It's easily my favorite dish and one I'll be coming back for. Montero's offers not just a meal, but a memorable experience, thanks to the incredible staff, thoughtful menu, and Andy's personal touch. Highly recommended!

Food is always good but our waitress last night seemed new and did mess up the order of one person at our table and did t come around frequent enough. Another server assisted with our table.

Great shrimp and grits, friendly and accommodating staff after delayed flight resulted in being late for our reservation. The fireplace dining room is charming.
