This place is a gem. I love that they source locally and make as much as they can in-house. Everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious. I recommend the gnocchi and the tiramisu—although it’s a seasonal menu so it changes. Regardless of the season or menu, this place is a must try and a staple for a good meal.

Just ate here for lunch. Service was good and uneventful. The eggplant parmigiana was delicious. The pumpkin ravioli was mediocre. The ravioli pasta was not totally cooked to true el dente form, and the filling was bland. I think it would do better with more pumpkin with a bit of clove. I would probably also add a sage/butter sauce to the pumpkin ravioli to give it a bit more depth in flavor profile.

The lasagna tasted too sweet. The raviolis were black which took us by surprise, but fit the theme I guess and the flavor was ok. The gnocchi was the best dish. All 3 came with salads which was great but the dressing tasted strange… like a mix of ranch/bleu cheese. The choc chip cannoli wasn’t sweet and lacked flavor, & the pistachio was alright.

I will point out that the service was great, friendly and gave us the second cannolis due to a miscommunication on the website.

My husband and I both ordered the Homemade Pasta. He ordered linguine with their meatballs and mushrooms, I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and broccoli. Both were delicious! We also shared the "And Nothing More"/Caesar Salad. Their dressing was delectable. We ended our meal with ā€œDreaming Dreamsā€/Pumpkin Spice Tiramisu. Overall, we were highly satisfied especially with it being take-out. This was our first time trying this restaurant and we are both ended the meal very pleased with our experience. Cannot wait to try it in person!

My husband & I had lunch here yesterday. The food was fantastic, our server, Donna, was wonderful. We had the meatballs (excellent). Donna said the meatballs are an old family recipe. My husband, who makes great meatballs was very impressed and had to admit Paradiso's meatballs are THE BEST meatballs he's ever ordered from a restaurant anywhere. We also ordered the beef stroganoff & homemade noodles, glazed carrots and ceasar salad. The glazed carrots were delicious. All of it was fantastic! I would highly recommend Paradiso!

Vegetarian options: The glazed carrots were beautifully presented and it was delicious!

Pizza was awesome and Sybrina was fun to talk to at the bar. It was a little hard to find as it really has no exterior signage other than a big P above the door.

The food has sadly gone downhill. No longer worth the higher cost.

Stopped in for a late lunch on the way to Norfolk.. excellent menu options as we wanted to try it all. We had the pepperoni pizza, chicken parm, and fettuccine alla Vodka with chicken- everything was amazing! The pasta is made in house so you aren't feeling overly stuffed when you leave.

This restaurant is located directly on the waters edge. From the outside, the restaurant is underwhelming. However, once inside, you are greeted by 2 very pleasant hosts and taken to your table. The servers immediately joined us and took the time to explain the menu and make a few suggestions. We ordered the fried ravioli as an appetizer, and it was fantastic. Soft bread is served, and our dinner choices came shortly after we had finished our delicious salads. We ordered the skilit lasagna and egg plant parmasan, both fantastic. Yes, it was worth the hour drive, and we will do it again. The only downside resulting in the 4 star's for the atmosphere is that the restaurant is very loud that could be fixed with a few live plants and some fabric pennant flags or some hung from the ceiling to absorb the sound. All in all, great food, great staff, and worth the effort to enjoy the top quality food and service.

Restaurant fails in almost every way except for food. Food is exceptional in flavor, freshness, and plate prentation. However, you'll wait an extended period of time. We waited on hour to order, another for the food, and one more for the bill. The parking lot is on a dangerous rocky downhill, difficult to enter, and dangerous to exit. Not likely to ever return. Would consider carryout.
Do not recommend large groups, the room for such is very cramped.
