Will definitely be going back. The service was nice and the food was good. The Crab was slightly overcooked but not too bad, and they were out of the majority of the fixings to make any cocktails. Maybe we just caught them right before a restock shipment, but as I said I will be going back and would recommend

Very good service, came at a time where there were hardly any other customers there. You can tell the place also used to be a Golden corral.

We did not expect to find the best ever hand pulled noodles at a small town seafood restaurant! We loved the food (Mongolian noodles and cajun seafood fettuccine) and everything else was great!

Overall the crab broil was good. However, my expectation is for crab legs to be fresh considering the time and location. The crab legs were soft and the meat was mushy. I was highly disappointed but the shrimp, corn and sausage was perfect. I chose the garlic seasoning and it was delicious. The waitress were sweet and helpful. I could not ask for better service. We will try this place again because everyone can have an off day.

First time eating here, visited on a Wednesday afternoon was seated right away. Dress code is very casual, staff wear T-shirts. Received drinks in 10 minutes food within 25 minutes. Wife enjoyed her plate of noodles and vegetables. I tried it, didn't care for it but I'm not a fan of vegetable stirfry. She had no complaints and took some home for dinner later.I had the seafood boil done in the house seasoning, which is a mixture of their three spices and chose heat level medium. It was so freaking awesome! The picture I took does no justice to the amount of food you get. There was a ton of fresh minced garlic in the sauce, which was thicker and much better than I expected. The meat in the alligator bites was the size of the eraser end of a pencil and only tasted the breading. I would've preferred larger pieces instead of a bunch of tiny ones.Overall, I really enjoyed the seafood boil and would probably order the same thing again, I definitely recommend. Cheers!

I only picked up an order, but the wait staff was friendly and efficient. Had a quick drink in the bar and the bartender was nice as well. I really like their fried fish. The batter is very light but tasty. Great fries! The hush puppies were good as well. We also had the seafood gumbo and while the sauce tasted great, the pieces of seafood were tiny and there were very few of them. There were a few little shrimps, three or four very small crawfish pieces and I didn't see any crab. I'd definitely recommend the restaurant, though. We've eaten there before and the other dishes we've had were good.

Bout the best fried catfish ever. Hushpuppies great, too. Nice and small with crunchy crust, moist insides and a touch of sweet corn kernels. Crabcakes are big! (Generous burger sized.)

Ok, I'm just like you. When I'm dining out in a new area, I'm not expecting to find hidden secrets on my first go around. But, I really don't want to be disappointed as well. I read all the reviews of Pier 17 and thought it was worth a try. Let me say: oh, yeah, it definitely is! Being from up north, I don't get seafood boils but once in a blue moon, and this is only when a friend from Mississippi decides to use his grandma's recipe that's been a family secret. I showed up as a single diner on a Sunday nite and (a) they made me feel very welcome, and (b) the boil was outstanding! Came out of the kitchen in a steam filled bag that made me think I had my own chef in the back making sure that if I couldn't eat in the kitchen that the kitchen would come to my table. Their house special sauce is an amazing combination of wonderfulness - the perfect spice level. And, you get to decide on mild, medium, hot, and extra hot...I chose medium thanks to the wait staff's recommendation. Glad I did.If you are looking for unpretentious good eats, I definitely recommend Pier 17. Ps. The local IPA was a perfect pairing.

We had good service but ended up getting the appetizer after we were almost done with our meal... And it was such a small amount for 4 people. The food was fantastic!! ?

Ate here while visiting relatives in EC. I thought the seafood would be delicious given the name is Pier 17. I ordered noodles with seafood. The noodles and sauce were good but the seafood was WAY OVERCOOKED! The shrimp and scallops were hard and rubbery. Probably would have been a good dish if the cook knew how to prepare seafood. Sorry!
