Sonics food may be somewhat good but the customer service at the Sonics in Elizabeth City, NC should be ashamed of themselves! The app is forever glitching & even though they are "always aware of it" they never honor their advertised deals. When you place an order from the app AND CHECK IN WITH YOUR STALL #, they will swear you never checked in & keep you waiting for your food for hours. You can talk to every employee coming out & they will tell you your food is being prepared. Press the intercom button to find out why it's been an hour & they'll tell you no one ever checked in. Ask for a refund & they won't even bother to tell you to go through the app to get one. They will just leave you hanging for hours to come. And these things has happened to me on more than just one or two occasions. There's only one worker there that I exclude from this nonsense & his name is Shane Wolf. He is the only one that makes things right with the customers the best he can. If he's not there then Good Luck. I will be contacting their Corporate Headquarters.

The food overall was delicious. I don't care for the groovy fries (hard). We did take out and service was rather slow. One other thing we had only 2 napkins in our bag 😔

Sonic used to be a cool place because everyone that was hired as a CarHop was required to wear roller skates now it's an option and you hardly ever get someone on skates but they do have really good drinks shakes and Sundays and if you go from 2 to 4:00 it is considered happy hour and all drinks are half price

I'm giving them a 3 star based on service received on two days in a row. The first day 7/10, the service was great the staff was friendly and attentive to our order, which was a rainbow slushie. It looked just like the menu showed and it was so good I went back on 7/11, I'm going to a picture of what we got on the 10th of July and on today the 11th if you notice where the blue is it was all white no yellow. Tonight was such disappointment, I told the young lady I don't want it because it looked nothing like the ones we got the day before. She said they didn't have any lemon, and it was only a little bit of the other colors. Why they would still try to sell me the item, knowing it was lacking the flavors (colors) it was supposed to have is wild and unacceptable I also ordered a brownie blast that was delicious
Stopped in for a quick bite while travelling. Decided to eat at the outside patio. The service was excellent. The Patio was clean and they even have a playground for the kids! I was stoked. It was a nice place to stretch the legs for a few. The manager Daniel was also the one who brought our food out. Stand up guy ! The whole service / experience and food were on point. Thanks again!

Got the rainbow slush and it was really good. Not terribly sweet. Also got onion rings, tots, corn dog, large sprite with nerds and it came out to $12. Not bad but the onion rings were way over cooked.
Kid-friendliness: There’s a playground and they host birthday parties.
I was told sonic doesnt give out breaks. It's not a requirement, at the same it doesnt feel right. Every manager/employee should be entitled to a break. I was told a manager worked 10 hours without a break and then a employee asked and got denied, how you guys got cooks back there but cant rotate them for a break.

Personnel here are very nice! Walked inside, asked for gift cards, someone helped me immediately, another young lady employee that used to work at Walmart was nice and friendly as well, the manager helped the lady employee that initially helped me. Since my daughter's teachers requested gift cards from here for teacher appreciation and since I had an excellent first impression, I'm giving them 5 stars.
