Must have missed the “friendly staff” everyone talks about, walked in and nobody said hello just said “we don’t have lunch anymore”

I've been coming here for a few years now. Always loved this place but when my fiancé and I decided to have our wedding cake made here, we were absolutely blown away. Not only was the cake delicious, but looked fantastic. We also had cupcakes for people who might not want a slice of cake, and they were fantastic as well. All our wedding guests were able to try it and they loved it. Talia does an amazing job here and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to have a cake made, or even just a bite to eat for lunch! Thank you, Flour Girls, for being the icing to our cake for our wedding!

I’m trying to understand what I experienced both times I visited this place. I relocated recently to EC from Ohio and have been trying to become familiar with the area. After reading the online reviews, and as an avid coffee drinker, 2 different times I have visited what I thought was to be a coffee shop/cafe but only to be told that coffee was not available there and was directed to Muddy Waters coffee shop down the street. What? Did I miss something here? No coffee! I am disappointed and surprised and have removed this place from my Go To List of favorites!

Lunches are yummy and easy for grab and go. The owner has even ran my food out to me so I didn't have to take the babes out of the car!Everyone LOVES the cakes and cupcakes that I get made for birthday parties.

I arrived at nine to pick up lunch for my sister and I. The only lady there was in a hurry and didn't want to help me. I didn't even know about the cold case until I got some pastries and cashed out. She was already in the back. I was disappointed. They have such lovely pictures of lunches and goodies. I was excited to get the chicken ceasar wraps. Maybe next time

It’s convenient and offers good cafe food. However, the bakery needs a greater variety of pastries and cookies. The biggest drawback is the unkempt exterior, which is what everyone sees first! Weeds growing out of the sidewalk and brick walls show a lack of community and business pride. When they spruce up and liven ip the exterior we’ll start going there again.

Brownies are just the right amount of fudgy and light, topped with fluffy icing. Homemade pickles are sweet and vinegary. I'll have to try more!

I'd go to Flour Girls for the sweet owner alone, but it's an added bonus that her treats are amazing and her take-away lunches are perfect! Their building is also beautiful!

Didn't even have a chance to order. I cam to order a nice treat for my kids while we did some stuff at a law firm. The minute I walked in with my family the lady rolled her eyes and gave us a complete disgusted look. I turned around and left. As a bakery that is aiming for family oriented it is not. Extremely disappointed and glad I didn't give any money to this business.

The cupcake was absolutely delicious and the service was even better! We stumbled upon this place after having breakfast and I am so glad we decided to pop in. The place is so cutely decorated and everything looked so good in the display case. We will definitely be back to try more!!

Excellent baked goods. Peach scone and blueberry muffin were delicious. Reasons for only 3 stars:1. None of the staff were wearing masks2. They don't do coffee!!3. When we said we needed coffee, they sent us somewhere over 8 blocks away, without mentioning there were closer options. Limited offerings are understandable in the pandemic. But masks and hand sanitizer should be required.
