Elk River Depot Family Restaurant

We’ve eaten here several times and it has always been good with good wait staff service. Today stopped at 2:10p. When we walked in the lady at the register said “sorry, we close at 3” huh? It’s 2’oclock? Of course we left and we didn’t argue or say anything but I was totally confused. I never go into a restaurant right before Closing, not even 30 minutes, but this was almost an hour.

The food was not good and the staff was not on time and the prices is thrue the roof

I used to get the pizza all the time here but recently they changed they way they make it nowhere near as good as it was but at the same high price very disappointing

We could have literally gone to A Hampton Inn and received the same quality of food.

We politely picked at it and then made our exit. It was also $15/head which seems steep for food that took little to no effort to prepare.

When I say it was copy and paste complimentary breakfast from a second tier hotel, I mean it.

We won’t be back for breakfast but we love the pizza.

The steak fritas, Saturday special was not good at all! The steaks are thin, tough and without flavor! Our waitress took our order, brought our drinks and never came back, someone from the kitchen brought our food. We ended up going to the front register to pay after waiting 20 minutes for the check.

Stopped here for lunch after the land of oz. Food was delicious, staff was super nice and helpful at recommendations. We had pulled pork, brisket and chicken strips- all delicious! We are glad we stopped in!

Underwhelming, but ok for area

Went to this restaurant for the first time this weekend. The food was ok but the service was horrible. There were 3 waitresses but o my one actually worked. The waitress we had took 15 minutes to come get out drink order and bring menus (it wasn’t crowded). When we got our drinks (sprite) they were only carbonated water. 20 minutes later she came back to take our order and when I told her about it she rolled her eyes and just asked what we wanted to eat. We ordered and then I asked if they were going to change the sprite and she told me in a very loud and clear voice that she would see if they had another one and then brought us two cokes (that we did not order). She then just didn’t come back. At all. Not to bring our food. Not to refill our drinks. Not at all. Another waitress brought our food and it was wrong. This was the one waitress that was actually working. She made sure that our food was brought out and when she saw that my order was wrong she bent over backwards to try to fix it. In the meantime our waitress NEVER came back. When we were finished eating (food was good) we found that waitress and tipped her well. After we made sure she didn’t have to share her tips. All in all not going back.

The owner held onto a coat that I left there several months ago and remembered me just to give it back! That was very kind of them to do.

The pizza is great and the staff is always friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I got 2 cheeseburgers and they was excellent. Prices was a little high but it was well worth it!
