We tried two sangria two wines. All four were excellent. I don’t typically find a winery where I like everything I try. Highly recommend making the trip here.
What a beautiful winery! We really enjoyed the friendly and knowledgeable staff, the wines in our flights and our cheese and cracker board while sitting outside on a perfect Sunday afternoon. And the rescue duck is way cool!
We have been here twice and both times we enjoyed live music and the beautiful grounds. I recommend the Cabernet, and my wife liked the berry mango sangria.

Banner Elk Winery offers wonderful food and drinks, including lobster dogs and blueberry wine. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and personable, making the experience enjoyable. Visitors can sample a variety of wines, such as watermelon jalapeño sangria and different dry reds. This family-owned business contributes to a vibrant town square, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all. The grounds are beautiful, with great views, and the tasting room has a cozy mountain lodge feel. With lots of seating outside, guests can relax while enjoying the scenic environment. The staff is helpful and great about allowing visitors to taste different wines, and the wines, especially the sangria, are highly enjoyed by guests. Live music on weekends adds to the charm, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy quality wine and food.
