I’m traveling through Elkin from out of town and stopped at freakshows for lunch. The food was amazing! Will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

I'll be honest, the name kept me away for a while. However, we recently had a late lunch there, our food was pretty good and I was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere. They have an interesting menu and I'd like to try some of their other offerings. We will be back, and are looking forward to our next visit.

Great service. Lady up front was awesome. Very informative. Burger was good. Wish it was a tri blend done in house though. Fries amazing. Honey mustard amazing. Wings needed more sauce. Rice and beans bland. Happy to see Mountain Dew on fountain though.

If you live in or around Elkin, you have to try this place. Oh my goodness, what delicious burgers and burritos. Even the fries are amazing! I can not recommend this place enough. Outstanding.

fantastic food.. SO hard to make a decision on what to get.. menu is loaded with unique options.. condiment bar was a perfect idea.. everything was exceptional.. even picked up a t shirt..will be back often..

The grilled cheeseburger was fairly tasty, with the grilled bread and the very fresh lettuce as the top points, while the low ratio of meat to bread and cheese, and the low meat coverage of the diameter of the sandwich - only 3/4 covered, were the low points.

Before Freakshows the best burger I’ve ever had was shogun burger in Tokyo Japan. This place wagyu burger isn’t as fatty. I believe I got the grilled cheese burger lord Jesus 😮‍💨. I’ve seen some people say the wait time is “long” but you’re getting a fresh and very creative burger and they don’t horde the sauces they let you get your own. The ranch was really good too had that nice homemade taste to it. The lady that took our order was very nice as well I like how the staff wasn’t dressed all “professionally” they were dressed like small town folks something about that reminded me of the old days back home.
