This place is closed ! I think maybe a buyout we came from yelp and had been a year ago but was surprised to see it closed down

Great tap selection and simple but well executed bar fare menu. Family had a giant pretzel starter (a favorite), meatball sub, chicken wings, kids mac & cheese bites, and burger bites. Service is super friendly, quick, and attentive. Prices are great. Very nice log cabin atmosphere with a roaring fire in the colder months and tons of outdoor seating and yard games in the warm months. Surprising they aren't more crowded on a Saturday evening.

In town during a camping trip. Stopped here today with our dogs. Very nice and helpful staff. Delicious beer, pretzels, and onion rings. If we were locals then we'd also be regulars. ?

Great stop after hiking Stone Mountain. The food menu is not extensive, but it is delish. The beer game is serious. These guys really know beer!

What a great place!

Only thing that was weird was that you had to order through the QR code. It makes the experience awkward and you don't really have any acknowledgment that your food/drink was ordered. The beer you have to order with a letter/number combo instead of its actual name.

Beer is good here. But if you expect any of the food you see in the pictures roll the dice. Came in and was first met with a very rude and sassy server. I said table of 4 and she looked at me and said ok and just walked off. Then asked if there was food and she said at the food truck as she was walking off. I go to this food truck and it was pitiful what they had. Needless to say if you want good beer come here. If your hungry eat before.

We wanted to explore elkin during the last rainy Sunday. We came to this brewery based on reviews. The building was large and smelled like campfire when we arrived (because the fireplace was lit), it was welcoming and pleasant.Rachel, the bartender, was more passionate about beer than anyone else I've ever met. She told us all about Elkin and about the history of the brewery. The whole staff is welcoming and friendly and the beer was very good. There is a good amount of parking, the building has lots of outdoor seating (and indoor), and it's easy to get in and out of.I highly recommend!

Holy smokes! This place was absolutely perfect. We hiked at Stone Mountain and looked for a spot on our way back home and this place fit the bill more than we even hoped. The smoked chicken wings were fantastic. The pretzel and cheese was huge, soft and delicious. The house made chips were seriously the best potato chips I have ever eaten...don't sleep on these. I had a sampler of two ciders, cream ale and a marzen. And the blackberry sonker, didn't know what we'd been missing all our lives. All tasty! The cozy fire, GREAT service, ease of ordering and paying on our phones, smoke aroma, and all the tables games...all of it was on point. Thanks for a great experience and we WILL be back!

I really wanted to like this brewery. I will say their Porter, pretzel, and beer cheese are delicious. Their Pear Cider not so much...no carbonation and crazy sweet. We also ordered the weenies and they were not good, not much taste and a few of them were just old. The Ambassadors seemed overwhelmed as well. I don't think I'll come back, not much of an atmosphere.

Was on my micro brew bucket list. Not impressed. Smoked wings awesome. Smoked cocktail weiner very good. Out of many menu items. Beer selection was limited many taps out. I had a flight, only the cherry cream ale was really good, others average or below. Staff? What staff, order on QR code, no one ever came over except to deliver the food and beer. Will not be back.

Beautiful day for a bike ride so Skeeter and I hopped on and headed up from Winston, then over to Mt Airy, then headed west to Elkin. Skull Camp was just over an hour's ride and a great spot to stop for a beverage before heading back. They've got a lot of beers on tap, but we both elected for a draft pear cider. It was perfect - a tart drink with just enough sweetness to keep me from puckering up. We'll definitely do this ride again, and Skull Camp will be our rest stop.

I don't get to visit nearly as often as I'd like to. I used to sell their beer on tap at one or two of my bars down east (Pender/New Hanover Co) when they first started up. Today I thoroughly enjoyed the Hoppy Hour ale, a buddy loved their blonde ale, and I finished with their tasty sangiovese blonde which is unlike anything I've had. As you can see, we also didn't enjoy the loaded nachos. ??

We had a great time here today. Shared the couples flight, a huge pretzel, tasty Sonker, and a good beer.I see a ton of recent reviews talking about the service and food going downhill. I'm not a regular so I can't compare but the food we had was solid and we could smell other tasty things at a neighboring table. They were out of some things but that's happening everywhere. As for the service: they were working hard and as fast as possible. It's clear they have a small staff right now, just like a lot of other food service and retail places, so it can get a bit hectic. Yes it took a little bit for our drinks but it wasn't because the staff were being slow or anything, they were busy and working hard to get everyone their food and drink.Definitely give them a shot if you are in the area. Come for the good beer and wine, stay for the Sonker.
