We wanted to explore elkin during the last rainy Sunday. We came to this brewery based on reviews. The building was large and smelled like campfire when we arrived (because the fireplace was lit), it was welcoming and pleasant.Rachel, the bartender, was more passionate about beer than anyone else I've ever met. I really wanted to like this brewery. I will say their Porter, pretzel, and beer cheese are delicious. Their Pear Cider not so much...no carbonation and crazy sweet. We also ordered the weenies and they were not good, not much taste and a few of them were just old. The Ambassadors seemed overwhelmed as well. I don't think I'll come back, not much of an atmosphere.
