This little jewel has the tastiest burgers ! Juicy and hand-formed patties were delicious. We enjoyed our meal outdoors in the picnic tables provided out in front of the restaurant.

We recently moved to Ellerbe within the past 2 years. Dixie Burger has become a staple for us on days we want a good burger and don’t want to cook it. The owners/staff are SO friendly and welcoming. We always tell anyone that tells us they are going through Ellerbe to stop here for a bite to eat. It’s nothing fancy, but it’s just the best basic home cooking around (for us at least).

Good hole in the wall spot for food in an area with not a lot of options! We came through and got burgers, a corn dog, fries, and a chef salad. Made fresh and hot, dining area was dark, but no major complaints. There’s also several options not on the menu listed- patty melt and chicken nuggets/ strips.

It was so nice to see a spot where someone I adored as a child would go and eat. But the food was great. It's a small hometown eatery. Great flavors. It's a very calming atmosphere in there that I don't feel most times in places it was beautiful. I would love to go back .

Local gem! Burgers are cooked fresh! No frozen patties here!! Good ole southern food! Cornbread is enormous…Fish is great and so are the hand patted hamburgers! That sweet potato casserole is delicious!
Place had great food! Great hole in the wall! We had the patty melt and onion rings and it was fresh and good!

I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious seafood platter with flounder, stuffed crab, shrimp, hush puppies, fries, and Cole slaw. I went back the next day to do it again! I'm definitely hooked, and I didn't have to travel all the way to the coast to enjoy such a meal!
