“Stayed one night at a hotel in Rocky Mount, NC. Google search for 'breakfast near me' and was led to this gem! Walk in the door and feel comfortable and welcomed. Service was great, food was great and absolutely beautiful presentation on the plate! Place is neat, clean and inviting. Don't miss this place if staying in or around Rocky Mount!“

“Amy Jo's is a plain, down-home, unpretentious, country cooking delight. I was in Wilson and just missed the breakfast call, so I opted for a cheeseburger and a hot dog. They were great! But I should have the meat loaf special, which looked absolutely scrumptious with the vegetables and all. Nice place!“

“Wonderful BBQ sandwich. Great barbecue flavor and super juicy without much of a vinegar sauce, which can be hard to do. I love a good ENC vinegar based sauce but this sandwich didn't need it! Such a nice natural BBQ pork taste. Cole slaw is absolutely a winner. I'll be continuing my BBQ sandwich tour across the east but will definitely stop here again.Sandwich rating 9.5/10“

“Negatives - Menus need to be replaced. Both mine and my husband’s had large ripped pages in them. Accident of broken glassware by waitresses collecting dirty plates etc. Luckily I was not hurt but should have had better clean up after room with vacuum. Still found broken pieces on floor next to tables. Look into collecting dirty dishes with a tub not a tray to prevent future accidents. Positives - everyone was friendly and our meal came out quickly. Had a delicious dinner.“

“By far one of the best burgers I've ever had. Met up for lunch here and it was such a cute little country eatery. I cannot get over the lemon blueberry cake either! So yummy! Cannot wait to come back and try the pemento cheese and fried green tomatoes!“
