“We finally got to eat here today and it was the best barbecue I've eaten in a while and it turkey barbecue. seasoned and chopped just right. sides were yams and cabbage with hush puppies and the best I've had lately. even bought a lb of barbecue home with us. service was exceptional. price was right as well. hope to go back soon.”

“Today was my 1st trip to Chew N Chat & it will NOT be my last! Myself & a cousin met for brunch & let me tell you ~~ the food was amazing! 15/10! When you can find one restaurant that has good coffee & soft delicious biscuits & bacon cooked good & crispy & y'all they have absolutely amazing grits! I mean amazing grits! You could eat the grits as they came from the kitchen (well you know I added pepper but that is me)! They were buttery & delicious & not the consistency of wallpaper paste like most restaurants serve! I was totally impressed with the food but I have to mention the staff too! Everyone was so friendly & helpful! When our waitress was busy another one saw our coffee cups were only half full & she topped us off! Yep our coffee cups NEVER got empty~~not once! Of course I saw several people I know & that made it even more fun! Go follow them on social media & see their new summer menu they posted today for June & July & August! “A fantastic find in downtown Rocky Mount. I've tried one of each of their patty flavors (including oxtail). All are delightful, and I've begun gifting them to associates and neighbors as a way of spreading the word. I'm trying some of their other menu items this week, and encourage all to drop in and carry some of these treats away to improve your day.”

“This little place is almost about the halfway point between Richmond VA and Sunset Beach NC. We have been stopping there for years both ways. The food is simple but absolutely delicious. Nice touch with the malt vinegar on the tables for fries. If you are passing through it is a must-try and you may become a regular as we have.”

“I went to Something Different with 2 friends today, my first time coming here. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. If you like a restaurant with loud, blaring music and too much noise and crowded with loud people, this is not the place for you. The food was outstanding. The pricing is on par with other places, unless you are wanting to pay McDonald’s prices. The tables had white table cloths, the people were so nice, and it was QUIET!!!! The music was soft, not loud, etc. I had the chicken salad sandwich, and it was perfect. Needless to say, I will definitely be back!!”
