“This is our dinner stop enroute to Hilton Head. South of here is a food desert until Florence - so it has become our go to. The meals are always delicious and sized right. I love the BBQ plate and SO always gets the fish special. The best feature is the staff, always efficient and friendly without the hovering that sometimes gets awkward. Located in a small strip mall, the scene is modern/clean. Not romantic but good enough for a date.”

“Found this little gem on Google. We were just passing through so we decided to stop by staying at the KOA in Enfield, NC. We ended up staying all day. Amanda was amazing !! She was friendly, sweet and funny. We enjoyed most of the day there with our pups hanging out with the new friends we made. If we are back In the area we will definitely be back!!”

“This was my second visit my first was brunch & was also a 10/10 experience. However, this time I brought my babies & our waitress Ms Kesha was the best. She was very attentive & kid friendly. Great service, good menu… not overly expensive. Food was very good quality all around. I highly recommend & will be back again.”

“The food was delicious, but the chef served most of the rice to the other family. Of course we received the items that we ordered, but by the time we were served, bc there were 6 of them and 4 of us, his division was horrible and we received the left overs which was not that much. That won’t stop me from trying again. I needed to let someone know. Thanks for your service.”

“Whether it be the food, the brews, or the friendly atmosphere I can’t recommend Bright Penny enough. This gem in Mebane is an absolute must! Their deviled eggs menu is worth the trip. My family loves the Lobster Seafood Dip and my personal favorite is the classic Pepperoni Pizza with Bacio Mozzerella. So much so, that I always order a second one for the road. The cheese pull alone will have you running back to their spacious Beer Garden for another satisfying bite.”

Creative way to eat sausage.Wife got the shrimp n grits which was better in her eyes, flavored and seasoned well.I got the Sunday waffle, a deep fried chicken breast on a cornmeal waffle with gravy over with a side of mac and mustard greens. The greens were perfect, the chicken was fried to perfection as I didn’t even need a knife to cut it.Overall worth the experience and will bring friends, family, and coworkers here in the future!!!”

“My husband and I ate at Jack’s tonight (opening night). We ordered calamari, filet, potato cake, fried brussel sprouts, ribeye, Oscar topping, creamed spinach, haystack onions, and lemon raspberry cake. Everything was absolutely delicious! Please give them a try; you won’t regret it!!”

“Had such a nice stay on our way to Hilton Head. Hotel is clean and great. From check until check out can not say enough. Gwendolyn remembered us from trip in May and took such good care of us in Bistro. It is so nice to be able to relax and eat at hotel after a long drive. We will definitely be back again.”

“I placed my order online but when I confirmed the correct address and submitted the order, the system used my old delivery address for the store near my new home. When I called the store in a panic, they were very helpful in fixing the issue and we got our food with no problem.It was hot and delicious. We'll definitely order from them again.”

“Went here for a lunch date with the Wife on Wednesday. Brandon R. was our server and seated us quickly (in fairness, we beat the lunch crowd). We ordered our appetizer which was delivered quickly. We both ordered Ribeyes, mine rare and my Wife's medium. They were both cooked properly and delivered to the table in a reasonable amount of time. He made sure our drinks were full and we were stocked full of A1 sauce and ranch dressing. I do have some constructive criticism (not complaints) that I think would help the atmosphere of the restaurant. When we were there they were playing current country music (which ain't fitting to listen too in my opinion) which does not go with a Gunsmoke theme type restaurant. I would have played 70's, 80's, and 90's country music which is not 1800's music, but is actually country music. Like I said, this is not a complaint, but constructive criticism. I will go back here again.”

“I made reservations and glad I did because there were a lot of people waiting who had no reservation. They were short of waitresses, but our waitress was friendly and prompt. The only thing was that the baked potato came out as were finishing our meal. My friend and I split The Ultimate Plate and got a salad and baked potato each. We had a lobster tail each, shrimp scampi, and fried ship. It was wonderful. I would not get the fried shrimp again. It was okay but I think the cocnut shrimp or another may have been better. The salad was big, fresh and had lots of ingredients in it. We took our baked potato, half the salad and the leftover cheese biscuits home. The meal was the best meal I had out in a long time. I highly recommend the restaurant.Parking: Large parking lot.”
