Stopped in on our way back to Charlotte for some breakfast. Wow were we surprised. This is the type of food I grew up with and would gladly come back when we are in the area. The Route 220 skillet is great. Corned beef, eggs, hash browns, gravy, cheese.
Our family tried Aleko's Kitchen for the first time today. Aleko's serves both Greek and American food. We love Greek food; however, we wanted to try their American fare because we've had a hard time finding a place that even comes close to Southern home cooking. We were pleasantly surprised. For all of my Burlington people - if you haven’t already, you have to try Aleko's Kitchen on S. Church Street ASAP. The food is amazing and all authentic and homemade. They serve Greek and American food. Did I mention they do breakfast all day too?!
