My mom took me here today for the first time and I absolutely loved my plate. She got the oxtail plate and I got the jerk wing plate (lunch special) with rice and peas, and fried plantains! The jerk wings seemed to be smoked then fried, they were well seasoned and once I dipped them in the sauce they tasted even better. Dixon's Jamaican Taste NEVER disappoints!! Indeed one of the BEST places to eat in the Burlington area!!?Truly a FAVORITE restaurant of mine!! Today my baby sister treated me to lunch and we BOTH enjoyed some of our favorites there. While she had the OXTAILS, I had the JERK CHICKEN both with their delicious CABBAGE, PLANTAIN, and RICE & PEAS!! And, both indulged in Jamaican Sodas, she with a Ting and me with a Champagne Kola! I'm from the Caribbean, I won't say which island because it's not important but the food was great! The service was on point, I even made a new little friend there! The music was sweet and I was in my elements! Loved the vibrant colors on the walls and pictures hanging in the store. I wanted to try a dessert, but next time for sure!Parking: The location is accessible off of the road and the parking lot is a shared lot with ample space.
