This Elon location is also a part of the Pandora's Pies next door. It has a nice section inside. It's good ice cream. I went for the Cookie monster ice cream as it is a limited time flavor. Meaning it's only available randomly. It is delicious. It's blue & contains Oreos and soft crushed cookie pieces. I placed it inside a waffle cone which they make themselves. I wish I had gotten a large instead of the small and the small was 2.5 scoops which was a pretty good size. I will be back when the Cookie Monster ice cream returns, hopefully soon with a large scoop! ✨?

It was a beautiful young lady behind the counter today that had ok customer service. We walked in as she was sitting behind the counter, some other employees made eye contact but didn’t welcome us verbally to the establishment. Upon ordering, I noticed the young lady was adjusting her shorts, touching her legs and then handling utensils and touching the waffle cone to see if it was ready. That was a huge turnoff. I’d love to coach businesses in the area on customer service and things they could improve to boost sales. The ice cream was good, but it didn’t have what we came for which is showing on their menu. They were out of many items or no longer sold them…. Would I recommend, maybe. If you’re in the area and there’s NO place else to get ice cream and sit outside to eat it and enjoy the elements.
This was a sweet treat after trying out a neighboring taco place. My friend and I walked over and each got a kiddie sized ice cream. I had the cake batter with hot fudge and it was delicious! I also thought that they were very reasonably priced.

So creamy and fresh. Some of the best butter pecan I’ve ever had. Hubby had coffee espresso, he ranked it a number two of all-time favorites and he’s an ice cream fanatic. Lol

We are serious about our ice cream, very very picky, so to give a thumbs up recommendation means a lot. Smitty’s shares space with a small pizzeria so accommodations are tight if you want to sit inside. Freshly made tubs of the good stuff are visible under the glasses showcases, so flavors are ever-changing based on the availability. We were fortunate in that the owner had just brought in a couple of newly minted creations. I had the Oreo cookies and cream which was chock-full of the flavorful cookies, contrasting nicely with the rich and creamy ice cream. I gave mine an easy five. That of course included the fact that I got a small cup which was still a decent quantity of product for an unusually reasonable price. Either that, or I’ve lived up in Connecticut too long. My daughter had the lemon curd ice cream and the raspberry sherbet combined in one cup— she was significantly impressed with the texture of the lemon varietal especially although she felt that the colors were more vibrant than the flavors. Stopped here while our daughter was at a camp at Elon University which is just down the road. Ice cream on one side pizza in the other you just can’t go wrong. Portions are huge and the server was quick and friendly as it was busy and she was alone. And the ice cream - delicious! Mint chocolate chip in a cup with chocolate chips. It was so good ! Will definitely be back if we are in the area.
