This is an awesome bar. Drinks are great, service is really good. The owner is always in there making sure people are attended to. The coolest thing is they have a free of cost shuttle service that will take you to other bars, home etc. the drivers are super nice and communicates well. You can really see the owner takes pride in his job and really cares about his customers having fun but being safe as well.

This place is a must stop for people visiting Emerald Isle! Our friend group stopped by there last night and had a blast. The two bartenders, Courtney and Grant, we excellent mixologists, who not only made amazing classics, but we're able to execute special requests and flavor profiles with ease! They were also super knowledgeable about places to eat and visit. While there is no food service, the location is surrounded by lots of great eats. I would highly recommend this bar.
Parking: There is plenty of parking around the plaza where the bar is located and from what we could tell was entirely free!!

Popped in here on a cold February night on the island. Immediately the owner spotted us and gave a warm welcome. Throughout the night his attention to guests took center stage. Recognizing almost everyone he was quick to say hi, wave a hand and stop by the table to chat. He definitely made a mark on our visit! At his recommendation we ordered the expresso martini and smoky old fashioned. Both were delicious and followed by more. There was no food service being off season, but we were invited to order from a neighboring restaurant. Soon the owner was serving popcorn hot off the popper to the patrons. Great treat to accompany cocktails. This place has a great local vibe, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the locals will keep Bar 1957 around for a long time. I’ll be there for sure!
