My wife and I went to Caribsea to celebrate my birthday last night. We never ended up having anything from the menu. We were brought to a table and then scolded by the waitress that we harassed the hostesses by nasty text messages. She came up to the table repeating some of the messages which caught us both off guard because she wasn’t making sense / she then brought the iPad from host stand and started scrolling through showing me the nasty messages I supposedly sent. This all happened in the middle of the dining room with no manager involved. I was beyond offended and ended up calling the police and letting the manager know how I felt about the treatment. Needless to say I or they were hacked via resy It wasn’t even my phone number , the hacker somehow attached my name to the messages. We left very upset and will not return They should have called us prior to arrival or had a manager meet us at arrival to find to confront the issue. Then they would have discovered it was a hack message not from two adults celebrating a birthday. The manager needs training
I don't know why we keep giving this place another chance. It's outrageously overpriced for the quality of the food...the kitchen is incredibly hit or miss. You may like an item on one visit and find it awful the next. At the price point they should deliver high quality with consistently. The servers are friendly enough. The management honestly does not care about your dining experience which is clear when the wildly inconsistent kitchen fails to deliver and the management is not interested in making sure you leave happy. I've come to assume they are in the tourist business where they aren't concerned about return business. Too bad. We are locals and had this idea that Caribsea could be our regular place. We have given them more than enough chances and will never be back.
This restaurant had great reviews so we wanted to try it. Been going to EI for years and finally tried it. First, we got there early and went the front bar area; the bar tender was awful; not friendly, no smile. We only ordered wine and a martini. In the restaurant, the server was great. We are from the Northeast and saw New England style clam chowder in the menu so 3 of us ordered that. It was awful. had a weird herb in it; was not creamy, the clams were chewy. It was NOT good. My husband ordered the special Wahoo; it was dry and tasteless. My sister and I shared the crab cakes; while they were good, there we not worth the cost. The whole experience was over rated and over priced. very disappointing.
Perfect food, great service and great atmosphere. Be going here for dinner for our EI trips for 4 years. Quality every time.
The best food and dining experience for a delicious dinner and casual ambiance, I highly recommend Caribsea. The drinks are excellent. Sushi rolls are a good appetizer and the Keith's salad with shrimp was a perfect main dish. My husband has cobra, the featured fish and it was done just right.
We found a post on social about their Restaurant Week 2025 special and made a reservation on Resy for our first visit. Super easy to navigate and we were able to adjust the reservation to fit our schedule. Appreciated the Veterans Parking. We were greeted by the friendly hostess and were asked what we preferred for seating. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Melissa W took just the best care of us. Fully explaining the Restaurant Week menu and regular menu. Answered questions about food preparation. Each delicious course came out promptly without rushing us. Melissa W. Is a wonderful server, she packed up our leftovers exactly as we asked. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will be back.
Superior service. Best crab cake ever as well as the Oyster Rock. Keith's salad was excellent. We will be back soon.

We held a rehearsal dinner for my son’s wedding at Caribsea! We were so pleased with everything from the planning to the final bill. The atmosphere was elegant and cozy, the food was fabulous, and the service was above and beyond! We had a lot of guests with food allergies… chef prepared specific plates for each of those guests, they labeled all of the food just in case we missed anyone’s allergy (we did buffet style for the majority of our 50 guests.) The final cost (even with an open bar) was a pleasant surprise. I gave Caribsea a budget and they stayed well under - I was shocked. The quality of everything was worth so much more. Everyone had a great time! I want to thank Vito, chef and the wait staff - everyone was so kind and so professional!
Vegetarian options: We had vegan, serious food allergies, and gluten free guests. Chef made plates specifically for their likings.

We were here for dinner on our wedding anniversary. It was a very pleasant evening, both the food and the service being very good. I had the Oysrer Rock - very small oysters but tasty, and filet mignon, cooked perfectly in accordance with my request. Husband had Beef Carpaccio and Tuna and enjoyed both. The online menu stated i my Filet came with creamed spinach, mine came with asparagus- server explained it was a "typo", l didn't make a issue of it because l like asparagus. Also, the reservation asked if it was a special occasion-we got no special however small recognition of this, if you aren't going to get anything special, why ask? These things may seem minor, but they are what stop me from giving a 5...
Disasterous dinner. So overpriced I was flabbergasted. “Manager” spilt my wine all over all three of us then never returned. Wtf. Nothing comped, no apologies, nada. Don’t waste your time or money.
