Normally love Flip Flop donuts and don’t mind the $$ but do not go there on Sunday morning when they are only open on weekends. Donuts were hard and obviously yesterday’s left overs. So sad, the quality took a major hit on this visit and certainly not worth the $$

The donuts were excellent. Your shop is cute, with the donut kitchen being right there.The service was also good, I knocked off two stars because if you are wearing gloves and you touch money and fiddle with the cash register without taking off your gloves, and then handle the donuts, there's no point to wearing gloves in the first place. Using bakery tissue paper to handle donuts might be a better choice. A fresh paper for each order of donuts, and no worry of handling money and other assorted equipment with the same surface you handle the food with.

Another stop we made on our girls' trip from Indiana. We stopped before they opened for the morning. People were lining up at the door. I believe all 4 of us girls got 3 different types of donuts a piece. They were delish !!!

The last time I was in emerald Isle I had a nasty illness so my lovely sister went out to get some doughnuts to make me feel better. She came back with doughnuts from flip flops and when I say this I mean no exaggeration, they made me forget that I was sick. I had an oreo doughnut and an apple fritter and they may have been the best doughnuts I have had in years.

Best donuts and muffins we've ever had. This place is a staple for the area. We vacation here each year and this is always a must have everyday of the trip. It's a core memory for our family for sure. The bubbas are our favorite! The owner and his staff are wonderful people.

I don't believe in leaving bad reviews (if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it all). I do have some recommendations though. The buckeye donut was an absolute disgrace to Ohio. If your gonna slap our name on it at least do it right. Taste like someone took jiffy peanut butter and slapped it on a chocolate pastry and called it a buckeye donut. I know for fact that was jiffy peanut butter, was a terrible donut. Ohio already sucks don't ruin our name anymore. Also 75 after a 15% tip on 2 dozen donuts I mean come on my guy. I can go circle k and get exact same ones and same quality for cheaper than that. I just think maybe should be a team meeting and revaluation on prices versus quality.
