I'm a pizza lover, and I've tried just about every pizza place in the area. But nothing compares to Lazzari's. I happily pass by Pizza Hut, Domino's, Pizza Forno, Michelangelos Pizza, and Papa John's to get my hands on their delicious pies.

The 15-minute drive is totally worth it. Their pizza is simply amazing – the perfect balance of crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and generous toppings. Every bite is a flavor explosion.

If you're a true pizza connoisseur, you owe it to yourself to try Lazzari's. You won't be disappointed!

I often stop in here for lunch during the week. Service has been okay. Food is usually good. Time before today they did not heat my pizza up long enough so it was cold. Today the lady working the front counter was RUDE. Was not nice at all. Didn’t talk or ask me what I wanted. She just started at me until I started to order. She then decided to walk away and do other things and then come back and start to heat my food up. She took it out way too soon and didn’t tell me it was ready just started more. Was also rude to a sweet old man asking what a garlic knot was. I won’t be back for awhile if I return and see her working I will walk right out.

This place was great!! We were out on the beach and we were craving pizza and looked up local pizza places and this place looked the best with pics and reviews and it was less than 5 mins from where we were staying at.

Best pizza on the Island hands down. Service was impeccable, food was amazing. I really enjoyed their chicken parmigiana sub which as of last time I was there they took off the menu, so Lazzara's if you are reading this review please bring it back it was so good. If you are looking for a good old-fashioned family and friends pizza night in Emerald Isle, then there isn't another option (unless it is closed lol).

Please stop here every single time we are on vacation. Sometimes we come twice. I wish they had a place closer to Pennsylvania. Their Pizza is absolutely amazing. This is the best pizza I've ever had in my whole entire life this last time I tried the pizza with tomato and basil. Oh my Lord. It's like a slice of heaven on Earth these guys know what they're doing

In my 33 years on this earth I’ve searched for quality pizza everywhere I go. Lazzara’s is right around the top of the pile for good New York style pizza.

The real stunner at this place though, as others have mentioned is the garlic knots. At $1.50 per, they are huge, soft, doughy, garlicky puffs of absolute delight. The pizza is some of the best I’ve had in a very long time, but we’ll be stopping back for a box of the garlic knots to dip in marinara.

Edit: we stopped back for the knots and a white pizza. It’s every bit as good as the pepperoni.

Our absolute favorite pizza place in Carteret County! We’ve been coming here for 12 years.

We always order the Godfather pizza and garlic knots (which are large!) and usually get a 2 liter. Everyone’s happy and full. They also have chocolate cannolis which aren’t always easy to find.

If you want authentic NY style pizza, this is the place.
